Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 溶液中の物質の濃度を示すための方法であって、伝導率の異なる酸化状態 および還元状態のいずれか一方の状態にあるポリマーで被覆された第1の電極構 造と、第2の別の対電極との間に溶液中で交流電圧をかけ、ポリマー被覆の伝導 率の変化を測定し、該測定の結果はポリマーの状態を示し、したがって溶液中の 前記物質の濃度を示すことを特徴とする方法。 2. 第1の測定は溶液中の物質の非存在下で実施され、前記溶液中における物 質の干渉についてのバックグラウンド読み取り値を提供することを特徴とする請 求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 3. 酵素はポリマー被膜に固定され、前記方法は溶液中における前記酵素の基 質の濃度を示すためのものであることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の方 法。 4. 前記第1の電極は、基質とポリマー薄膜との間で電荷を移動させるために ポリマーまたは酵素被膜に関連したメディエータを備えることを特徴とする請求 の範囲第3項に記載の方法。 5. 第1の測定は前記酵素の非存在下で実施され、前記溶液中における物質の 干渉についてのバックグラウンド読み取り値を提供することを特徴とする請求の 範囲第3項または第4項に記載の方法。 6. 酵素の基質はポリマー被膜に固定され、前記方法は溶液中における酵素の 濃度を示すためのものであることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項または第2項に 記載の方法。 7. ポリマーはポリ(アニリン)を有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項 乃至第 6項のいずれか1つに記載の方法。 8. ポリマー薄膜の厚さは0.1〜1μmの範囲にあることを特徴とする請求の範 囲第1項乃至第7項のいずれか1つに記載の方法。 9. 第1の電極構造は、表面に離散的ポリマー被膜が使用された複数の電極を 備え、各電極に別々に交流電圧が印可され、各ポリマー被膜も伝導率の状態を測 定することによって、溶液中の複数の物質の濃度を測定することを特徴とする請 求の範囲第1項乃至第8項のいずれか1つに記載の方法。 10.請求の範囲第1項乃至第9項のいずれか1つに記載の方法において使用さ れる回路の単極を形成する電極構造であって、ポリマー薄膜が被覆された電極を 備え、ポリマーは伝導率の異なる酸化状態および還元状態のいずれか一方の状態 にあることを特徴とする電極構造。 11.ポリマーが被覆される露出面を有する細長い電極を備えることを特徴とす る請求の範囲第10項に記載の電極構造。 12.ポリマー薄膜は、酵素が固定される組成物によって被覆されていることを 特徴とする請求の範囲第10項または第11項に記載の電極構造。 13.前記電極は、基質に印刷された絶縁誘電層と層間接続された1本以上の炭 素電極を有する炭素マイクロバンド電極を有し、ポリマーは前記マイクロバンド 電極の炭素の露出端に被覆されていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第10項乃至 第12項のいずれか1つに記載の電極構造。 14.前記ポリマー薄膜の厚さは0.1〜1μmの範囲にあることを特徴とする請求 の範囲第10項乃至第13項のいずれか1つに記載の電極構造。 15.離散的ポリマー薄膜で被覆された複数の電極を有することを特徴とする請 求の範囲第10項乃至第14項のいずれか1つに記載の電極構造。 16.酵素は離散的ポリマー薄膜の1つにオーバーコートされていることを特徴 とする請求の範囲第15項に記載の電極構造。
