Abstract

PURPOSE:To always apply no low frequency voltage to respective electrodes, to make a current burn or the fatigue of a muscle hard to generate in spite of long-time use and to enhance treatment effect by successively distributing the low frequency voltage outputted from a low frequency oscillation means to the respective electrodes of a director by an output distribution means. CONSTITUTION:A director 3 is constituted by arranging eight electrodes 3a-3h on the same straight line at a definite interval. In this case, electric wires (not shown in a drawing) are led out from the respective electrodes 3a-3h. A multifunction apparatus 4 has function distributing the low frequency voltage outputted from a low frequency oscillator 1 to the respective electrodes 3a-3h of the director 3 and is constituted of a CPU, ROM or the like while a program for distributing low frequency voltage to the respective electrodes 3a-3h of the director 3 is written in the ROM. Low frequency voltage is applied to the respective electrodes 3a-3h of the director 3 in predetermined order. By this method, since no low frequency voltage is always applied to the individual electrodes, a current burn or the fatigue of a muscle is hard to generate in spite of long-time use and a lowering of treatment effect due to habituation is reduced.

In this case, electric wires (paths shown) are drawn out from each of the electrodes 3a to 3h. 4 is a multi-function device having a function of distributing the low frequency voltage output from the low frequency oscillator 1 to each electrode 3a to 3h of the conductor 3. This multi-function device 4 is configured to include a CPU (central processing unit), a ROM (read only memory), etc. (not shown), and the ROM has a low frequency signal applied to each electrode 38 to 3h of the conductor 3. A class 21 program for distributing voltage has been written. In this case, (a) a low frequency voltage is sequentially applied two by two from the electrode 3a to the electrode 3h,
After the application to electrodes 3g and 3h is completed, return to the original state again,
A program to repeat and (b) a program to sequentially apply a low frequency voltage of II from the electrode 3d to the electrode 3a and from the electrode 3e to the electrode 3h and repeat this are written. One of these programs can be selected using a switch (not shown).

In the low frequency treatment 2 configured as described above, after applying the guide 3 to the part of the human body where stiffness, paralysis or pain is felt, the low frequency oscillator l and the multi-function device 4 are applied.
Turn on each power switch (not shown). Then, the low frequency oscillator 1 sets a desired frequency and peak value, and then the multi-function device 4 selects a desired one of the programs for each allocation. For example, if you select the program (a) above, the guide 3

In this way, since the low frequency voltage is sequentially applied to each of the electrodes 3a to 3h of the conductor 3, the location to be stimulated moves accordingly. Therefore, since a low frequency voltage is not constantly applied to each of the electrodes 3a to 3h, current burns and muscle fatigue are less likely to occur even when used for a long time, and the therapeutic effect is less likely to deteriorate due to familiarity. In other words, the therapeutic effect is improved compared to the conventional method.

A conductor in which electrodes are arranged in parallel as shown in Figures (a) and (b) may also be used. Furthermore, as for how to allocate the low-frequency voltage, it is recommended to create a program so that the optimal therapeutic effect can be obtained depending on the difference in the arrangement of the electrodes, the number of electrodes, and the symptoms.
