In other words, a thin cover part is interposed between the cored cover parts on both sides, and the core is inserted in the center. In the production of Ichiyo grooved hardcover books using hardcovers with a spine, the hardcovers are passed through a roll section of a machine called a gluing machine, glue is applied to the hardcovers, and then glue is applied by hand. The contents of the book and the cover were pasted together, and then a separate machine was used to add grooves to create the finished book.

Since each book is manually bound using a machine, it takes a lot of manpower to create consistent thick covers, and the current situation is that books with inconsistent finishes are bound inefficiently. be.

の本を得ることは臨めなかつた。 In addition, in the case of a thick cover, the edge of the thin cover, which forms the throat of the book, is double laminated, and glue is applied to the thin cover to which each ball core is attached, resulting in a hardened state. Furthermore, the thin cover is coated with various coatings after printing, which gives it elasticity, so you can simply apply glue to the spine of the book and apply glue to the cored cover on both sides of the thick cover. If the bound book is pasted together and then ejected, the throat of the bound book will swell, and the front and back covers will be pasted together at uneven heights. I had to add grooves to the book, and it ended up with wrinkled grooves, making it impossible to get a beautifully bound book.

る。 That is, in this invention, a cored back part is provided in the center with thin cover parts interposed between the cored cover parts on both sides,
The spine of the book content is adhered to the cored spine, and the thick cover with glue applied to the upper surface of the cored cover part on both sides is clamped and sequentially transferred, and the thick cover is transferred with rolls on both the left and right sides. A process of pressing the end faces of both edge sides and bending the thin cover parts on both sides into a groove shape with the cored back part at the waist using a central grooved roll to form a throat part, and forming a plurality of throat parts made of the thin cover parts on both sides. A step of sequentially forming the left and right cover sections into a single groove using a pair of right and left side rolls, and raising the cored cover sections on both sides and lowering them together with the book contents, and adhering the endpapers of the book contents to the back side of the cored cover sections. To provide a method for manufacturing a single-groove thick-cover bookbinding, which comprises a step of feeding the bound booklet downward.

本中身の見返頁である。 First, in Figures 1 and 2 of the drawings, 1 is a thick cover, and this is a thin cover 2 whose entire surface is coated with glue (ordinary starch glue), and the cover ball cores 4a on both the left and right sides are attached at predetermined positions. , 4a and the central spine ball core 3a are glued together, and the outer periphery is folded and glued together, and is automatically and mechanically produced using a conventionally known device. That is, this thick cover 1 has cored cover parts 4, 4 on both left and right sides to which cover ball cores 4a are bonded, with thin cover parts 5, 5 interposed between them, and a spine ball core 3a bonded to the center thereof. It has a structure in which a cored back part 3 is provided. Therefore, in the above-mentioned thick cover 1, ordinary glue 6 is first automatically applied only to the surfaces of the cored cover parts 4, 4 on both sides thereof. The thick cover 1 coated with the above glue 6 is then conveyed by a cover feed conveyor.
The cored spine 3 of the thick cover 1 is attached to the spine of the book content 7, which is transferred while being held in another clamp, and the spine of the book is coated with quick-drying glue (hot melt) 8, and nipping is performed as shown in Figure 2 of the drawing. state. Note that 7a is a cover page of the book's contents.

ものである。 At this time, the edge edges of the thick cover 1 on both sides are simultaneously pressed by the side rolls 9, 9 on both sides, so that the thin cover sections 5, 5 on both sides are shaped like a square groove as shown in the figure, with the cored back section 3 at the waist. It is bent and formed. and the next 4th
In Figure B and Figure 5B, the side rolls 9 on both sides,
9 is slightly narrower than in the above case, so the edge edges on both sides of the thick cover 1 are pushed a little further than the front, and the inner edges of the left and right cored cover parts 4 are pushed against the book content 7. As shown in the figure, the left and right thin cover parts 5, 5 are completely molded into the throat part M. Next, in FIG. 4C and FIG. As shown in the diagram,
The left and right core-containing cover parts 4, 4 end faces are folded in a direction perpendicular to the book content 7. At this time, the cored back part 3 is pressed against the book content 7 from below by a back roll 13 so that the cored back part 3 does not become unstable. Then, in the next FIG. 4D and FIG. Then, in the next steps of FIG. 4E and FIG. And finally, Figure 4 F
And in Fig. 5, the both edge edges of the thick cover 1 are pushed again with the side rolls 9, 9 on both sides, and the throat parts M, M are pressed against the book content 7 by the left and right rolls 12d, 12d, and the book is completely eaten. By forming the groove P, the relationship between the cored back part 3, the double cored cover part 4, and the first groove P is completed. Next, the cored cover portions 4, 4 on both sides of the thick cover 1 having the above-mentioned complete grooves P formed therein are placed on the guide 1 as shown in FIG.
4 and is lowered downward in the direction of the arrow by the feed rolls 15, 15, the core-containing cover parts 4, 4 on both sides stand up so as to come into pressure contact with the book content 7, and then move downward together with the book content 7 that descends when the clamp is released. At this time, the end pages 4a on both sides of the book contents 7 are automatically adhered to the back side of the cover section 4 with cores on both sides, and complete grooves P and P are inserted into the throat as shown in the figure. The fully bound book H is then fed out downward.

製造できる卓抜した効果がある。 This invention is as described above, and the book contents are adhered to the cored spine, and a thick cover with glue applied to the upper surface of the cored cover portion on both sides is clamped and sequentially transferred, and the book contents are sequentially transferred. The throat part is formed by bending the thin cover parts on both sides into a groove shape with the cored back part of the cover at the waist, and then the roll part is passed through multiple sets of single rolls to form a complete groove in sequence. Finally, the cover parts with cores on both sides are raised up and lowered together with the contents of the book.
The endpapers of the book's contents are glued to the back of the cover with cores on both sides, and the complete binding is rolled out downwards. This system allows for the consistent and automatic production of grooved thick-cover binding, resulting in consistently high-quality, consistent finish. It has an outstanding effect of making it possible to continuously produce books stably and efficiently.

丁の本を得ることができる効果がある。 In addition, in this invention, the throat portion is formed by pressing the end faces of the thick cover on both edge sides with rolls on both the left and right sides, and bending the thin cover portions on both sides into a groove shape with the cored back portion at the waist using the central grooved roll. Because of this, the edges of the thin cover of the thick cover are double layered, the thin cover is coated with glue, and the thin cover is coated to give it elasticity. Irrespective of the defects caused by folding and forming of thick covers, the defects can be eliminated and folding can be easily and properly and stably performed, which has an excellent effect that can contribute to the production of high-quality books. In addition, if you simply apply glue to the spine of the book and then paste the adhesive to the cored cover sections on both sides of a thick book cover and then discharge the book, the throat of the book may swell, or the height of the front and back covers may increase. This has the effect that it is possible to obtain a book with a beautiful binding because the sheets are not unevenly pasted together and there are no wrinkled grooves.
