Regarding oil-water separators for ships, 6 international conventions regulate oil discharge standards within and outside specified nautical miles from the coast, and various developments have been made regarding the separation performance of oil-water separators to comply with these standards. . However, in the past, most oil-water separators were relatively large.
So-called land-based installation type with considerable weight, or ship loading installation type exclusively on the floor 5! It is of a type. (Problem to be solved) It is an extremely difficult task to quickly remove large amounts of oil spilled onto the sea due to ship accidents, etc. Removal work can be roughly divided into: ■Recovering oil on the sea surface; (Prevent dispersion with an oil fence, and then collect using an oil recovery boat, oil suction device, oil/water tank, oil absorption material, etc.) ■Transporting the recovered oil to a distant land location. (Transportation between oil tanks) , ). The efficiency of this work depends on how well the water and oil are separated during the recovery process, and how much water is recovered as much as possible. In other words, if more water is recovered, the transportation work is reduced. In the worst case, most of the water will be transported, and the success or failure of the removal work will depend on the
Improving the efficiency of collection work will be a decisive factor. In particular, the fact that transportation costs account for most of the overall removal work costs makes it easy to infer the seriousness of the separation technology problem. In addition, it is necessary to easily and economically recover relatively thin layers of oil, such as oil spilled and floating not only due to sudden and unexpected oil leaks, but also during refueling at dog or fishing ports. Conventional bar separators are sturdy steel containers, and as mentioned above, they are installed on land or loaded onto large ships, so they are difficult to install on small ships or in relatively narrow ports. The reality is that they are not prepared. However, oil that has been dumped on the ocean surface, leaked, or spilled due to an accident is associated with environmental problems and requires prompt recovery. In recent years, collection speed and economic efficiency have become an issue. The present invention is a separator that has a simple configuration, is lightweight, easy to handle, can be stored compactly when not in use, does not require installation space on land or on a ship, and is capable of extracting oil with as little moisture as possible. For the purpose of providing.

In addition, one problem was solved by proposing a water surface floating separator with the following configuration that does not require any installation space on land. Here, the present invention provides that the side wall of the young tree separation chamber is made of a flexible material or has a foldable structure such as a bellows shape.
A floating oil-water separator is characterized in that a floating body is provided above the young tree separation chamber so that the young tree separation chamber is stably held below the water surface. This floating oil/water separator is compactly folded and stored when not in use, and when in use, it is dropped into the sea and floats, filling it with oil and water to form a container of a predetermined shape. It consists of an upper part that forms a chamber and a lower part that forms a young tree separation chamber. The upper oil chamber is equipped with an oil outlet, the m wall of the young tree separation chamber is equipped with an oil/water pumping port, and the bottom is equipped with a drainage port. It has been established. The flexible material forming the young tree separation chamber is a material such as canvas that can be easily crushed and folded for storage. Further, it can also be configured to have a bellows-like configuration or the like so that it can be folded freely.

Before use, it is folded up into a small size and stored on board or on land, so there is no need for a conventional installation location. When a floating type oil/water ITL device dropped into water opens the oil outlet valve at the top and immerses the bottom in water, the weight of the bottom sinks and water enters through the drain, eventually causing the outer wall to stretch. The water surface rises to form a seedling separation chamber of a predetermined shape, and the floating body comes to rest at the position of the floating body. While suspended in water, the oily water collected by a skimmer or the like is pumped through the pumping port into the young tree separation chamber of one main body. When oily water is pumped, the water level inside the vessel rises, and the oily water circulates along the inner surface of the side wall within the vessel. When the oil chamber is full, when the valve at the oil outlet is closed, a specific gravity separation effect takes place in the separation chamber, causing oil to rise and water to fall and be discharged from the drain port. When the oil layer is made of a transparent material), the oil is detected manually or automatically using an oil layer detector, and the valve at the oil outlet is opened to drain the oil and transfer it to an oil tank. Depending on the amount of oil and water pumped by the pump, the continuously separated oil and water are discharged to the outside from the oil outlet and drain port provided at the upper and lower positions, respectively. The oil-water separation chamber is a floating body that is stable under the water bottle, and the separation continues efficiently through constant wave oscillation and circulation inside the chamber. This structure allows oil with low moisture content. It can be sent to the oil tank, and even if separation is not performed sufficiently, it will be discharged back to the sea from the drain, so there will be no problem at all.

In the drawings, the principle area in FIG. 1 shows a state where the water surface floating type oil/water molecule i device is dropped onto the water surface W and is being used. FIG. 2 is a diagram showing the principle of recovery, and FIG. 3 is a sectional view of a different embodiment. The floating oil-water separator is composed of an upper oil chamber I, a lower oil-water separation chamber 2, and a floating body 3. The side wall 4 of the oil/water separation chamber 2 is made of a flexible material. A side wall 4 of the oil/water separation chamber 2 is formed. The material is a flexible material such as rubberized cloth or canvas that can be easily crushed and folded for storage. Further, the side wall 4 can also have a foldable structure such as a bellows shape as shown in FIG. A floating body 3 is attached around the upper part of the oil-water separation chamber 2. The floating body 3 may be an annular air bag surrounding the upper part of the side wall 4 or something like Styrofoam, and it does not matter how it is attached, but it must have sufficient buoyancy to allow the separator to float on the water surface. . The oil/water separation chamber 2 is stably held below the water surface by the floating body 3. It is preferable that the oil chamber 1 formed in the upper part of the oil-water separation chamber 2 be made of a transparent material or the like so that the internal oil-water separation state can be seen. Note that the oil chamber 1 and the oil-water separation chamber 2 refer to the upper part (the space where the separated oil is located) and the lower part (the space where the oil-water is pumped and the separation phenomenon occurs) of the continuous space inside the vessel, and strictly speaking, Otsu's boundaries are moving. The upper oil chamber 1 is provided with an oil outlet 5 equipped with a valve 51, the side wall 4 of the oil/water separation chamber 2 is provided with an oil water pressure feed port 6, and the bottom surface 7 is provided with a drain port 8. The spilled oil lO on the sea is collected by the skimmer 9I of the oil tank capacity S, transferred from the pump 9 to the oil water pressure feed port 6 by the hose L1, and is forcedly fed into the oil water separation chamber 2. A single flow is generated in the oil-water separation chamber 2, and this flow and the vibration of ocean waves combine to efficiently perform specific gravity difference separation. Oil 10 separates upward and water 12 separates downward. When the valve 51 is opened, the oil lO is transferred from the outlet 5 through the hose 13 to the oil tank, and the water 12 is returned to the tank through the drain port 8. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 3, the connecting edge 14. is, which can be disassembled and assembled freely, and a floating body 3 is attached to this connection mis, and the side wall 4 of the oil-water separation chamber 2 is formed into a foldable bellows shape. Since it is preferable that the floating 111-type oil/water separator be compact when stored, lightweight, and durable, the construction material is selected to be a suitable synthetic resin material that is as lightweight as possible and does not rust. The above describes one embodiment of the present invention, and includes design changes such as the shape and size of the water surface floating type oil/water IT device, weight setting of the bottom surface to maintain floating balance, and materials used to reduce weight. Various predictions can be made regarding the selection.

ものであり、きわめてすぐれた発明というべきである。The water surface floating type oil-water separator according to the present invention has the function and structure as described in Iif, and has the following remarkable effects. ■When stored when not in use, it is very compact and can be disassembled, requiring only a small space for 10 tubes. Removal work is mostly an emergency measure in the event of an accident, and related equipment should be avoided if it requires a large space to be installed in a day-to-day storage situation. Moreover, when in use, the separation chamber filtration having a predetermined volume is formed to function satisfactorily. ■Since it is not heavy like a steel container, it is lightweight and easy to handle. Being lightweight makes it easier to work, and a series of tasks can be carried out efficiently, including assembling the device near and far, dropping it into the sea, operating it, and storing it after recovery is complete. ■Oil-water separation allows transport of oil with low water content.
Shipping costs can be significantly reduced. ■The structure is simple, there are no breakdowns, and maintenance is easy. Manufacturing costs can also be reduced. ■At fishing ports and docks, even if oil is recovered by leaving it floating in the sea at all times, it does not take up any space on land, so it does not become a nuisance. As described above, the water surface floating type oil/water H device according to the present invention is lightweight and has a simple structure for collecting oil/water on the sea, and can be called an extremely excellent invention.
