[Detailed explanation of the invention] This invention relates to the structure of lighting equipment, and in particular, it is used in cases where the lighting equipment is placed diagonally above the illuminated surface, such as in a study stand. The present invention relates to a reflector structure for controlling light distribution in a device used for lighting purposes.

Traditionally, lighting equipment used in the manner described above has a bowl-shaped reflector (reflector shade) as shown in Figure 1.
As shown in FIG. 2, one side of the reflector plate 52 is gently tilted to reflect the light at an obtuse angle, and the light is reflected at an obtuse angle. There was a way to face it. However, the one shown in Figure 1 has the disadvantage that the direct light from the lamp easily enters the eye, making it difficult to provide a good working environment on the desk surface. Since the reflective surface has the function of blocking direct light from the lamp, it has the disadvantage that it tends to be large.

This idea was made in view of the above-mentioned drawbacks, and the shape of the reflector is unique so that even a stand placed on the corner of a desk can efficiently illuminate the irradiated surface without impairing the viewing environment. The aim is to provide lighting equipment that can

In order to achieve the above object, this invention centers on the light source, and in a cross section passing through the light source, both ends of the reflective plate that covers the light source are extended in front of the light source, and one reflective surface (hereinafter referred to as The reflective surface (referred to as 1) is constructed of a parabola or a part of an ellipse so that the light from the light source is reflected to the illuminated surface,
The other reflective surface (hereinafter referred to as the second reflective surface) is made up of a part of an ellipse whose focal point is the light source and two points directly below the light source, so that the light from the light source is not dissipated outside the fixture through primary reflection. The light source is characterized by a reflector structure that causes the light to be reflected from below the light source, is secondarily reflected by the first reflecting surface, and is emitted to the outside of the device.

Hereinafter, the principle of this invention will be explained based on FIG. .
A second reflecting plate 7 has a second reflecting surface formed of a part of an ellipse with the two focal points being the fluorescent lamp 1 and the focal point 6 immediately below the fluorescent lamp 1;
The first, second, and third reflectors constitute one reflector. Reference numeral 8 denotes an opening formed between the first reflecting plate 2 and the second reflecting plate 5, and its edges are all located below the fluorescent lamp 1.

In such a configuration, a part of the light from the fluorescent lamp 1 is directly irradiated through the opening 8, but most of the light is controlled by the first and second reflecting plates 2 and 5 that constitute the reflecting plate, and the light is directional. As shown by the arrow in FIG. 3, some of the parts hit the first reflecting plate 2 and the third reflecting plate 7, and are reflected outside the device by primary reflection, and some of them also hit the second reflecting plate 5. The incident light is reflected, passes through a focal point 6 set directly below the fluorescent lamp 1, and re-enters the first reflecting plate 2, where it has an angle similar to that of the light rays 3 and 4 emitted by primary reflection. It is emitted as light rays 9 and 10.

In addition to providing the same effect as shown in the figure, the size of the reflector can be reduced, so the lighting fixture itself can be made smaller. Furthermore, the fourth reflecting plate 12 can be formed after forming the bowl-shaped reflecting plate, which is advantageous in terms of manufacturing.

As described above, this invention is a lighting fixture equipped with a reflecting plate in which the lower surface of the shade that covers the linear light source is open, and both ends of the shade extend downward from the light source in a cross section that includes the light source. The reflecting plate has a first reflecting surface and a second reflecting surface, and the first reflecting surface is provided at one of both ends of the shade, and is formed from a part of a parabola or an ellipse with the light source as the focal point. The second reflective surface is provided on the other of the both ends of the shade, and the light source is the first focal point, and the second reflective surface is located directly below the light source.
Since multiple pieces are bent to have optical characteristics equivalent to the part of the ellipse that is the focal point of the ellipse, it is possible to obtain an efficient and directional lighting fixture that does not adversely affect the visual environment. be. Furthermore, since the second reflecting surface is bent so as to be optically equivalent to a part of the ellipse, the reflecting plate can be made small, and can also be used in a normal incandescent light bulb, and is easy to manufacture.
