In recent years, growth has been on the rise.
Liquid detergent compositions such as shampoo compositions are required to have mild, creamy, and smooth foaming properties, and for this reason, amphoteric surfactants are used. Among these amphoteric surfactants, especially amidobetaine type amphoteric surfactants are less irritating to the skin, have good foaming properties, are biodegradable active agents, and have high conditioning effects on the skin and hair. Therefore, it is frequently used in shampoo compositions.

However, amidobetaine-type amphoteric surfactants are more expensive than anionic surfactants, so they are used in combination with anionic surfactants for economical reasons.
;However, when an amidobetaine type amphoteric surfactant and an anionic surfactant are combined, a gel is formed and the viscosity of the shampoo composition becomes extremely high. There are many problems in terms of usability, such as making it difficult to remove the product from the container or applying it to the hair.

In addition, in order to solve these problems, measures have been taken such as adding lower alcohols such as ethanol to the shampoo composition to lower the viscosity of the composition, but in this case, the foaming of the composition may decrease or However, it has the disadvantage of poor storage stability.

In order to achieve the above object, the inventors of the present invention have made extensive studies and found that a liquid detergent composition containing an anionic surfactant and an amidobetaine type amphoteric surfactant has a carbon atom number of 4.
An anionic surfactant when one or more compounds selected from ~12 branched diols and mono- and diols with 4 to 12 carbon atoms having one or more ether bonds in the molecule are blended. Since the gel formed by the combination of 25 and an amidobetaine type amphoteric surfactant is destroyed by the above mono- or diol, the viscosity of the composition can be easily reduced.
The viscosity can be adjusted to an appropriate viscosity of 5000 centipoise or less at ℃, therefore, it has good foaming, smooth and creamy foam performance, and when used in a shampoo composition, for example, it can smooth and detangle the hair during hair washing. The present inventors have discovered that a liquid cleansing composition can be obtained that prevents hair loss and is easy to spread onto the hair, is easy to take out from the container during use, and has excellent usability, and has thus arrived at the present invention.

From the results in Table 1, the shampoo composition containing only an anionic surfactant (Comparative Example 1) leaves the hair with insufficient smoothness and tangle-free properties during hair washing. When an amidobetaine-type amphoteric surfactant was used in combination (Comparative Example 2), the hair during washing was smooth and free of tangles, but the viscosity of the composition was very high, making it difficult to spread it onto the hair and remove it from the container. It was less easy.
