Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and to cut down cost by constituting an armor part in the vicinity of a slit of a reflecting member of specific color. CONSTITUTION:In an optical system unit 3, a reflector 32 made of metal and the like is fixed to the lower part of the reflecting member 31 subjected to resin molding, and a light source lamp 33 is inserted therein laterally. The reflecting member 31 is molded so as to fill in the opening part 11 of the armor 1, and fixed to the armor 1 by a machine screw. The member 31 is also colored in white which has a high light reflectance. Since the identical reflecting member 31 is always used regardless of the color of the armor 1 of a copying machine main body, every machine has the same light quantity. As result, the number of parts can be reduced to cut down costs.

(C) Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, the amount of reflected light (energy) of light differs depending on the color, and as mentioned above, if the color of the exterior 51 can be arbitrarily selected, the reflection by the exterior for each copying machine machine is possible. The amount of light will be different. Light reflected by the exterior (stray light, etc.) may be repeatedly reflected and expose the original, or may directly enter the optical sensor in a copying machine equipped with an optical sensor 55 for detecting the density of the original. The color affects the amount of light reflected from the original and the density of the original detected by the optical sensor 55. The amount of light reflected from the original and the density of the detected original are greatly related to the quality of the image formed, and for this reason, conventionally, it has been necessary to adjust the control circuit of the light source lamp and the like according to the color of the exterior.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 3, it is conceivable to provide a light control plate 56 on the side of the exterior 51 to eliminate the difference in light amount depending on the color of the exterior 51, but this method requires a large number of parts.・
There was also the problem of waste.

Even if it differs from machine to machine, such as blue, there will be no difference in the amount of light reflected near the slit. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the influence of the selected exterior color on the amount of reflected light on the document and the amount of light incident on the optical sensor.

The optical system unit 3 includes a reflector 32 made of metal or the like fixed to the lower part of a resin-molded reflective member 31, and a light source lamp (fluorescent lamp) 33 inserted into the reflector from the side. 4, 131 is molded so that it can be fitted into the opening 11 of the exterior part, and is fixed to the exterior part with screws 34. The reflector 32 is provided with a reflection plate (not shown) on a part of its inner surface, and reflects the light from the light source lamp 33 to focus the light on the document on the document table 2 . As shown by the dotted chain line in the figure, the light from the light source lamp 33 not only directly exposes the document, but also shines through the reflector 3.
The original is exposed to light reflected by the reflective member 3.

A slit 32a is formed along the light source lamp 33 on the bottom surface of the reflector 2332, and a light convergence transmitter 4 is disposed below the slit 32a, so that the reflected light from the original is guided to a photoreceptor (not shown) by the light converge transmitter 4. It will be destroyed. Further, an opening 32 is formed in the side surface of the reflector 32, and the optical sensor 5 is disposed outside the opening 32. The optical sensor 5 is a sensor that detects the density of the original, and receives reflected light from the original and light reflected by the reflecting member 31, and detects the amount of light. Although the light incident from the reflective member 31 causes an error in detecting the density of the original, the amount of light that enters the optical sensor 5 from the reflective member 31 can be predicted, and if the density detection circuit is configured based on this amount of light, the density of the original can be determined. Can be detected accurately. If the reflective member 31 is made to have a specific color as in this embodiment, there is no need to set the density detection circuits individually depending on the color of the exterior of the copying machine body.

(g) Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the present invention, the exterior color of the Surin I and its vicinity is set to a specific color, and the reflected light of the document and the incident light of the light sensor can be adjusted to a specific color without the need for a special light control plate. The number of parts can be reduced because the light, etc. can be kept constant, and there is no need to adjust the control circuit of the light source lamp depending on the exterior color, so assembly and adjustment time can be reduced, reducing the total cost. There are advantages that can be achieved.
