Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify constitution and to attain cost-down by using a rod antenna for transmission also as the pillar of a a microphone. CONSTITUTION:A microphone 3 is protruded in a horizontal direction by a freely stretchable pillar 4 so that a mechanic tone can not be picked up. This pillar 4 is used not only as the pillar but also as the rod antenna for transmission. Namely, an RF, transmitter 5 to transmit a video signal, which is a photographing signal-processed signal and a sound-signal processed signal, is built in a video camera 1 and the pillar 4 is connected to this RF transmitter 5 as the rod antenna. Thus, since the pillar 4 of the microphone 3 is used also as the rod antenna for transmission, a fitting space or the cost can be decreased.

When such a video camera is used, there is an advantage that the photographed image can be confirmed on a television system while photographing the subject without the subject noticing. For example, at a wedding, etc., it is convenient to set up a video camera on a tripod so that the photographer does not have to be attached to the video camera all the time.

<Problems to be Solved by the Invention> However, when attempting to incorporate a transmitter into a video camera, a problem arises as to how to handle the transmitting antenna, which is essential to the transmitter. However, if it were simply provided as a transmitting antenna, a larger space would be required and the cost would increase accordingly. Also,
If the presence of the transmitting antenna is too conspicuous, it may cause female customers to dislike it because it looks mechanical. Furthermore, if a switch is provided to activate the built-in transmitter, the operation becomes more complicated than in the past.

On the other hand, some video cameras have a microphone attached to the video camera via a telescoping support so that the microphone for audio recording does not pick up mechanical sounds. The present invention was completed by focusing on the fact that such a video camera does not require a dedicated transmitting antenna.

Means for Solving the Problems> The configuration of the present invention to achieve the above object is to connect the microphone support to the transmitter in a video camera that has a built-in transmitter that transmits the video signal being shot to an external television system. The transmitter is characterized in that it also serves as a rod antenna, and that the transmitter is powered on by pulling out the rod antenna.

As shown in the figure, the video camera 1 is equipped with a solid-state image sensor (C
CD): The output from the microphone 3 is subjected to image signal processing and audio signal processing so that it can be recorded on a video tape or played back. This is what is called a video deck integrated type. Here, microphone 3
It is designed so that it can protrude horizontally using a telescoping column 4 so as not to pick up mechanical noise. This support 4 is not only used as a support but also serves as a transmitting rod antenna. (i.e., RF that transmits video signals that are image signal processed signals and audio signal processed signals)
A transmitter 5 is built into the video camera 1, and the column 4 is connected to the RFI transmitter 5 as a rod antenna. When the RFI transmitter 5 transmits radio waves in the UHF band, a rod antenna for transmission with a length of at most ten centimeters is sufficient. Furthermore, since the UHF band is sufficiently far away from the audio band, it is thought that there will be no electromagnetic interference, but if necessary, a shield may be provided for shielding. The audio signal may be omitted from the video signal to be transmitted.

In the video camera of this embodiment having the above configuration,
Since the support 4 of the microphone 3 also serves as a transmitting rod antenna, the installation space and cost are reduced compared to the case where a dedicated rod antenna is provided. Furthermore, the exterior should be clean and give a cohesive feel. Furthermore, although the video camera and the deck in the above embodiment were integrated, the present invention can be applied even if the video camera and the deck are separate bodies and they are connected via a cable. It is.

<Effects of the Invention> In addition, as specifically explained based on the embodiments, the present invention has a video camera with a built-in transmitter in which the transmitting rod antenna also serves as a support for the microphone.
The configuration is simplified and costs can be reduced. Also,
Since the transmitter is built-in, there is no need to add any operation switches, and the complexity of operation can be avoided.
