Description
第1図は本考案の排気音干渉型消音装置の概略
構造図であり、第2図はそのテールパイプに干渉
音を発生させる管長可変テールパイプが並設され
た部分構成図であつて、Aはアクチユエータが作
動されない管長可変テールパイプの状態図、Bは
アクチユエータが作動して管長可変テールパイプ
の管長を変化させた状態図である。第3図は排気
音の任意周波数に対する干渉音の発生形態図を示
し、Aは排気音エネルギーが一番高い周波数の形
態図、Bは排気音の任意周波数の変化する音圧、
又は他の周波数の音圧を消音する場合の形態図で
ある。第4図は本考案の他の実施例による管長可
変テールパイプを曲管テールパイプに変更し、テ
ールパイプに並設した構造部分図である。第5図
は従来の干渉型消音原理説明図である。

ラにおいて、排気ガスをマフラより大気中へ導出
させるテールパイプが2本配設構成され、一方の
テールパイプを管長可変テールパイプとし、該管
長可変テールパイプには管長可変がされるアクチ
ユエータを設け、アクチユエータの作動には他方
の直管テールパイプより出る排気音の音圧と18
0度位相のずれた音圧の干渉音が発生されるよう
にするアクチユエータ制御機能手段を付設し、該
アクチユエータ制御機能手段の制御で干渉音が変
えられることによつて排気音の巾広い周波数に亘
り消音されることを特徴とする排気音干渉型消音
