Abstract

PURPOSE: To make loosened dusts freely fall and to prevent damage of pipes by fixedly securing a connecting member to a vibrating rod such that the connecting member is directed in a longitudinal direction of the vibrating rod and by engaging the connecting member with an engaging member disposed between two pipes perpendicular to the vibrating rod. CONSTITUTION: A connection between pipes 3 and a vibrating rod 12 is made by connecting two neighboring pipes 3 to each other by way of a connecting member 13. This connecting member 13 extends between both pipes 3 in a direction perpendicular to the pipe 3 and is welded to the pipes 3. An engaging member 14 which is fixedly secured to the lower side of the vibrating rod 12 is provided with a recess 15 at a lower side thereof and the engaging member 14 is overlapped on the connecting member 13 by way of the recess 15. Accordingly, the engaging member 13 extends in parallel to the pipes 3 and the connecting member 14 occupies a relatively small space so that even when the vibrating rod 12 is moved back and forth, the free fall of peeled-off dusts is not obstructed and the pipes 3 can be cleaned in a short time.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION In the case of a vibrating device known from German Patent No. 2.036.061, a vibrating rod is connected via a coupling piece to a vertically extending pipe of a waste heat boiler. This engaging piece has a U-shaped cross section and is connected to the side of the pipe to be vibrated. When the vibrator is vibrated, some of the dust that falls from the part of the vibrator above the engagement piece accumulates on the horizontally arranged flat engagement piece, which may cause a blockage condition. In order to make large pieces of dust fall, it is necessary to continue vibrating to break up such large pieces of dust, but this increases the vibration time.In addition, the vibration and engagement piece Repeated vibrations of the vibrator together with the dust solidified in the gaps between the dents will corrode and damage the protective sleeve surrounding the vibrator in the area of the engagement piece, and eventually cause the vibrator to fail. If the vibrator transmitting pressure leaks in this way, the waste heat boiler will have to be shut down.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) An object of the present invention is to make it possible to allow loose dust to fall as freely as possible, and to connect the vibrator to be vibrated and the vibrating rod so as to avoid damage to the vibrator. An object of the present invention is to provide a vibrator-squeezing device configured to secure a connection between a vibrator and a vibrator.

(Operation and Effect) In the device according to the present invention, the engaging piece extends parallel to the vibrator, and the connecting piece takes up relatively little space. The free fall of the vibrator is hardly impeded and a relatively short period of vibration is sufficient to clean the vibrator. In addition, since the engaging piece is attached to the vibrator via the connecting piece, there is no place where rubbing occurs between the vibrator that guides pressure and the engaging piece (therefore, the life of the vibrator can be extended).

A waste heat boiler for cooling waste gases with a high dust content m is equipped with a corrugated tube bundle 2 consisting of a vibrator 3 through which water or steam flows in the region of the gas duct surrounded by a wall 1 . Vibrator 3 is suspended vertically from the ceiling of the boiler. Part of the dust separated from the waste gas settles on the vibrator 3 and forms dust deposits that must be removed from time to time. An intermittently operated vibrating device, described below, is used to remove deposits.

In the illustrated embodiment, the connecting piece 13 consists of a pipe piece. Instead of a piece of pipe, a round bar or a square bar may be used. here,
For example, the upper side of the connecting piece 13 is designed to have a roof shape by narrowing the cross section of the connecting piece 13 so that the cross-sectional shape exhibits an arc. With this configuration, it is possible to deflect the dust falling from the top to the side.
