Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a deodorant which is mixed with feed to deodorize wastes of animals and which can also deodorize fish or other sources of offensive odor, by using butyric-acid bacteria and Bacillus subtilis as effective elements thereof. CONSTITUTION:Butyric-acid bacteria and Bacillus subtilis, when used together, can decompose and deodorize various sources of offensive odor: e.g., hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, mercaptan. When they are mixed with feed which ferments in the stomach, they efficiently deodorize the source of offensive odor in the stomach, thus deodorizing wastes. When a deodorant includes butyric-acid bacteria or Bacillus subtilis separately or with other bacteria, it does not have the same outstanding deodorizing effects as a deodorant including both butyric-acid bacteria and Bacillus subtilis together. The deodorant thus prepared effectively deodorize various sources of offensive odor, e.g., wastes of animals, thereby preventing smell polution or water pollution and allowing a cattle stall and a house to be kept clean.

Conventional technology The intestinal flora (microflora) that exists in the digestive tract of animals such as livestock has nutritional effects such as metabolizing nutrients and synthesizing vitamins, as well as preventing disease infection. It plays an important role in the development and maintenance of health. This imbalance in the intestinal flora manifests as a symptom of diarrhea, and live bacteria have been used as a treatment for this problem for a long time. Conventionally, live bacterial agents used as therapeutic drugs include

Effect The present invention can decompose and deodorize odor sources such as hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, and mercaptan by using butyric acid bacteria and Bacillus subtilis in combination as described above. For example, when mixed in animal feed, the feed Since it is fermented in the stomach of the animal, it is possible to efficiently deodorize the odor source, especially in the stomach, and therefore, the excreted excrement can be deodorized. Even if butyric acid bacteria and Bacillus subtilis are used alone,
In addition, no significant deodorizing effect was observed when using butyric acid bacteria or Bacillus subtilis in combination with other fungi, but a significant deodorizing effect was observed by combining acetic acid bacteria and Bacillus subtilis. It is presumed that the fungi have a synergistic effect with each other.

The deodorizers of Examples 1 to 2B were added to and mixed with the fish bones, and the odor was checked one hour later. As a result, all of the deodorizers were completely deodorized. In addition, the deodorizing agents of Examples 1 to 26 were added to and mixed with the fish bones, and the odor was checked 1 day, 2 days, 3 days, and 5 days later. As a comparative example, fish bone crumbs to which no deodorizing agent was added and mixed were prepared. In the case of fish bones that were not mixed with the deodorizer, the grains separated and emitted a bad odor, but in the case of the fish bones that were mixed with the deodorizer of the example of the present invention, there was no odor at all, and furthermore, the fermentation progressed and dried. The meat was in a state where it could be used as feed raw material, except for the bones.

Furthermore, as a result of administering 20 cc of the above Example 7.15.21 per pig per day by adding it to the feed, it was not only possible to deodorize the excreted manure, but also to show that after 20 days I was able to get rid of all the odors. In addition, due to the elimination of the odor of manure, the pigs no longer cough, and the pigs become very calm and have an increased appetite, and their growth and growth are 20% faster than in pigs in barns that do not use deodorizers. The fattening period could be shortened. What's more, the breeding rate was improved compared to livestock barns that did not use deodorizers, with an average increase of two animals. In addition, Miyairi bacteria and Bacillus natto are useful in preventing and treating bacterial replacement disease caused by disturbances in the intestinal bacterial layer, eliminating diarrhea and shigellosis. In addition, since feces can be fermented as described above, feces can be fully utilized as organic fertilizer for agriculture, afforestation, gardening, etc., and can also be fully utilized as a soil conditioner. can.

In the above example, the case was explained in which Bacillus Miyairi was used as the acetic acid bacteria and Bacillus natto was used as the Bacillus subtilis species.
It has been confirmed that the same deodorizing effect as above can be obtained using Bacillus subtilis, and it can be easily inferred that the same deodorizing effect as above can be obtained with other acetic acid bacteria and Bacillus subtilis.

In the above examples, rice bran, barley bran, or bran is used, but butyric acid bacteria and Bacillus subtilis may be given directly to animals without using these, or butyric acid bacteria and Bacillus subtilis can be given in alcohol or It can be used as a deodorizing agent that is mixed in water and sprayed to deodorize odor sources. In addition, butyric acid bacteria and Bacillus subtilis bacteria can be used directly in the air or water to deodorize odor sources, and when used in toilets, a remarkable deodorizing effect was observed, and it is effective in preventing odor pollution and water pollution. I also found it helpful.

Effects of the Invention In short, according to the present invention, by using acetic acid bacteria and Bacillus subtilis in combination, odor sources such as hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, and mercaptan can be decomposed and deodorized. It can prevent odor pollution and water pollution, keep the entire livestock barn and the inside of the house clean, and especially promote the growth of livestock kept in livestock barns, and the large amount of feces produced can be effectively used as fertilizer, etc. can. It can also deodorize various other odor sources, and is useful for preventing pollution and water pollution.
