Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent compsn. which exhibits good foaming properties, detergency, and foam qualities during cleaning and is excellent in the feeling of refreshment after rinsing by imcoporating a potassium salt of a higher fatty acid, an alkyldimethylaminoacetic acid betaine, and a high-polymn.-degree polyethylene glycol into the same. SOLUTION: This compsn. contains 5-30wt.% potassium salt of a higher fatty acid, 2-20wt.% alkyldimethylaminoacetic acid betaine, and 0.0005-1wt.% high-polymn.-degree polyethylene glycol. The synergistic action of the potassium salt and the betaine provides a thickening effect, giving a stable liq. with a suitably high viscosity even without using a gelatinizing agent. The synergistic action also improves the detergency of the compsn. and enables the inhibition of occurrence of soap scum.

However, a detergent containing a potassium salt of a higher fatty acid as a main component has excellent properties in terms of foaming properties, detergency, solubility in an aqueous system, and a refreshing feeling after rinsing. On the other hand, it has disadvantages such as the generation of so-called soap scum during washing, the inability to obtain a creamy foam, and the swelling of the skin after use due to excessive degreasing during washing. In order to ensure the stability and usability (ease of use) of the product, it is necessary to increase the viscosity of the system to an appropriate level. However, the aqueous solution of a potassium salt of a higher fatty acid alone keeps the viscosity stably high. Is difficult, and gelation and crystal precipitation at a low temperature are likely to occur.

[0004] As a method for solving the above-mentioned problems of a detergent containing a potassium salt of a higher fatty acid as a main component, there have hitherto been used acylalkyltaurine salts, acylisethionate salts, phosphate ester salts, acylamino acids. A combination with a salt-based surfactant or the like has been studied, and an application has been filed. (Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication (Kokai) No. 6-248298) The addition of a gelling agent such as fatty acid alkylolamide or various water-soluble polymers has been studied in order to obtain a suitable viscosity. However, these methods have not been able to finally provide excellent quality as a liquid skin cleanser, such as insufficient improvement of defects and unfavorable feeling during use. Accordingly, development of a more improved liquid skin cleanser in these respects has been desired.

Under these circumstances, the inventors of the present invention have conducted diligent research to overcome the above-mentioned drawbacks, and as a result, each of potassium salts of higher fatty acids, specific amphoteric surfactants and highly polymerized polyethylene glycols has been investigated. By combining a specific amount, without deteriorating the advantages of higher fatty acid potassium salt-based detergents such as foamability during washing, detergency, and a refreshing feeling after washing, eliminating soap dregs during washing,
To obtain a creamy foam quality, yet to give the skin a tight feeling, and to increase the viscosity of the system moderately without using a gelling agent to obtain good stability and usability. They have been found, and the present invention has been completed based on these findings.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail. The potassium salt of a higher fatty acid as the component (A) used in the present invention is a general-purpose anionic surfactant in a detergent. Potassium salt of higher fatty acid has good solubility in water system among higher fatty acid salts which are hardly soluble in water, has excellent foaming property, detergency and gives a refreshing feeling after rinsing, but is weak to hard water on the other hand Disadvantages such as poor low-temperature stability. In the present invention, high foaming properties and detergency, essential as a skeletal component of the formulation for imparting a refreshing feeling after rinsing, combined with other essential components, the disadvantages of the potassium salt of this higher fatty acid are improved. In particular, the present inventors have found that in the present invention, the interaction between the potassium salt of the higher fatty acid as the component (A) and the below-mentioned component (B) alkyldimethylaminoacetate betaine exhibits a thickening effect. Was. As a result, a stable, moderately high-viscosity liquid material can be obtained without using a gelling agent. However, even the salts of the same higher fatty acids do not show this tendency to thicken with sodium salts, triethanolamine salts and the like.

As is clear from the results shown in Tables 1 and 2, the liquid body soap of the present invention showed good results in foamability, detergency, creamy foam quality, and a refreshing feeling after washing, and I couldn't see any soap residue. Further, it was proved that it has good stability and usability due to its moderate viscosity, does not give a feeling of tightness on the skin, and exhibits excellent effects gentle on the skin. On the other hand, in Comparative Examples 1 to 11, none satisfying all items was obtained.
