Conventionally, in the case of manufacturing a female connector using such a tulip-shaped terminal 1, the flat plate of the tulip-shaped terminal 1 in which the tip side of the flat plate portion 2 is separated to form a curved portion 3 as shown in FIG. A protruding portion 4 is formed on the side of the portion 2, and the protruding portion 4 is formed by passing the protruding portion 4 through the rectangular cylindrical portion 6 of the molded portion 5 separately molded as shown in FIG. The tulip-shaped terminal 1 is positioned by fitting it into the engagement groove portion 7 formed on the inner wall of the.

In this way, in the female-side connector 9 in which the tulip-shaped terminals 1 and 1 are mounted in parallel, it is not possible to perform die-cutting between the curved portions 3 and 3 on the tip side. After forming the rectangular tube portion 6 having a sufficient size for insertion, and inserting and fixing it here,
Since the square tube portion 6 is filled with the resin 8, there are two steps, and there is a problem that workability is extremely poor.

In, the mold forming the cavity is divided into a plurality of pieces and supported so as to be able to come into contact with and separate from each other, and the flat plate portion of the terminal is sandwiched by the separation surface of each mold member, and the mold is arranged between the curved portions of the adjacent terminals. The mold member is formed so as to escape the curved portion of the terminal, and the mold members are combined and supported so that the terminal penetrates the cavity, and then the cavity is filled with resin to form the mold part. It is characterized in that when the mold members are formed, and then the mold members are separated and the mold member arranged between the curved portions of the terminal is removed, the die members are forcibly removed within the elastic limit of the curved portions.

するメス側コネクターインサート成形法。1. A metal forming a cavity in a female connector insert molding method in which a plurality of tulip-shaped terminals or cantilever-shaped terminals each having a curved portion provided at a tip of a flat plate portion penetrating through a mold portion are attached in parallel. The mold is divided into a plurality of parts and supported so that they can be brought into contact with and separated from each other, and the flat plate part of the terminal is sandwiched between the separating surfaces of the respective mold members, and the mold member arranged between the curved parts of the adjacent terminals After the curved portion is formed to escape, the die members are combined and supported so that the terminal penetrates the cavity, and then the cavity is filled with resin to form the mold portion, and then each die member is formed. A female-side connector insert molding method, characterized in that, when the mold member disposed between the curved portions of the terminal is separated and the mold member is pulled out, it is forcibly pulled out within the elastic limit of the curved portion.
