【発明の詳細な説明】 ［産業上の利用分野］ 本発明は皮膚に対し持続的な皮脂分泌作用を有する皮
脂分泌促進剤に関する。

［課題を解決するための手段］ 本発明者らは前記課題を解決するため、種々の生理活
性物質について検討を行った結果、ウンデシレン酸が皮
脂線機能を亢進するとの知見を得て本発明を完成するに
至った。

は、老人性乾皮症、アトピー性皮膚炎等の乾燥型湿疹の

本発明に用いられるウンデシレン酸は、遊離酸の形態
であってもよく、また塩でもよい。塩としては、カリウ
ム、ナトリウム、カルシウム、マグネシウム、亜鉛等の
各塩があげられる。また、ウンデシレン酸エステルとし
ては、メチル、エチル、プロピル、イソプロピル等のア
ルキルエステルやベンジル、アリル等の芳香環を含むエ
ステル、グリセリン、プロピレングリコール、ポリエチ
レングリコール等の多価アルコールとのエステル、また
はエポキシプロピルエステル等が挙げられる。さらにウ
ンデシレン酸のアミド誘導体としては、モノエタノール
アミド、ジエタノールアミド等が挙げられる。これらウ

ンデシレン酸のアミド誘導体としては、モノエタノール
アミド、ジエタノールアミド等が挙げられる。これらウ
ンデシレン酸およびその誘導体は、単独で、あるいはこ
れらの２種以上を混合して用いてもよい。
つぎに本発明皮脂分泌促進剤に配合されるウンデシレ
ン酸の皮脂分泌作用について試験した結果を示す。

（試験方法） 10週令のハムスターを３群に分け、第１群の耳介内側部
にウンデシレン酸５％のエタノール溶液、第２群にウン
デシレン酸１％エタノール溶液を各々0.05ml、14日間投
与した。また、対照群のハムスターには、ウンデシレン
酸を含まないエタノールを同様にして投与した。14日間
の投与後、採取した耳介内側部の皮脂線の面積を画像解
析装置により測定した。

デシレン酸１％エタノール溶液を各々0.05ml、14日間投
与した。また、対照群のハムスターには、ウンデシレン
酸を含まないエタノールを同様にして投与した。14日間
の投与後、採取した耳介内側部の皮脂線の面積を画像解
析装置により測定した。
第１表より明らかなようにウンデシレン酸は耳介の皮
脂線サイズを増大させる。

本発明の皮脂分泌促進剤中、ウンデシレン酸、その
塩、エステル誘導体およびアミド誘導体以外の成分は、
従来公知の成分であってよい。本発明の剤型は、例え
ば、ローション、オイル状、軟膏状、クリーム、乳液
等、様々な形態とすることができる。ウンデシレン酸は
汗に含有される脂肪酸であり、人体に対して毒性を示さ
ず、これらの剤型中のウンデシレン酸、その塩、エステ
ル誘導体、アミド誘導体の配合濃度は、その剤型に応じ
その性能に影響を与えない範囲であってよいが、0.01〜
10重量％の範囲で配合することが望ましく、最も好まし
い範囲は、0.1〜５重量％である。また、その使用法は

群に実施例３のクリーム、第２群に対照のクリーム（実
施例３からウンデシレン酸を除いたもの）を各々前額部
に１日１回塗布した。４週間後、同部位を洗顔剤にて洗
浄後２時間放置し、その後シガレットペーパー（２×3c
m）を３時間貼付して皮表脂質を採取し、このシガレッ
トペーパーから脂質を抽出してその重量を測定した。
群に実施例３のクリーム、第２群に対照のクリーム（実
施例３からウンデシレン酸を除いたもの）を各々前額部
に１日１回塗布した。４週間後、同部位を洗顔剤にて洗
浄後２時間放置し、その後シガレットペーパー（２×3c
m）を３時間貼付して皮表脂質を採取し、このシガレッ
トペーパーから脂質を抽出してその重量を測定した。
その結果、下記のようにウンデシレン酸を含有するク
リーム投与群では、皮表脂質の有意な増加が認められ
た。

［発明の効果］ 本発明の皮膚化粧料はヒトの皮膚が本来有する皮脂分
泌機能を亢進させ、自然な形で持続的に皮膚に油分を供
給し、皮膚、毛髪になめらかさや潤いを与える。また、
本発明の皮脂分泌促進剤は、アトピー性皮膚炎等の乾燥
型湿疹の改善など治療予後に効果がある。
