Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a liquid filter element comprising a metal wire wound like a coil in which the dimensional accuracy of the space in the coil can be maintained. CONSTITUTION: This liquid filter element consists of a metal wire having projections (A) on its surface wound into a coil so that these projections (A) are present between two rings adjacent to each other and forms a space (B) between the rings. A filtering aid 8 is deposited in this space. Thereby, maintenance of the element during use is made easy.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention is a filter element for filtering impurities existing in a liquid by using a filter aid. Its application can be used, for example, in the production of products that require filtration of fine suspensions of drinking water, sake, oil, etc., or products that require "turbidity" in coarse-grain filtration such as juice, soy sauce, etc. It is a thing.

2. Description of the Related Art The following are known coil coil type filter elements. 1) A hollow tube with a large number of small holes through which liquid flows is used as a core metal, and a wire having a circular cross section is closely adhered to the hollow tube in a coil shape on the outer periphery thereof, and a minute gap is formed between the wire materials. There is a filter element that is wound so as to keep it, in which the outer circumference of the coil is precoated with a filter aid. This allows the liquid to be filtered to pass from the outer surface of the coil, and allows the filtrate to flow in through a small hole in the hollow tube. This device has many processing steps of the hollow tube that is the core metal, the manufacturing cost is high, and it is impossible to separate the core metal and the coil, so it adheres between the hollow tube and the coil-shaped element. Special cleaning equipment is required to remove the above.

2) A wire having a circular cross section is wound around a coil so that the wires come into close contact with each other, mounting metal fittings are provided at both ends of the coil, and a core metal slightly longer than the entire length of the close contact coil is inserted at the center to form the coil. This is a filter element in which a minute gap of about 70 μm generated between wire rods is formed by slightly extending and fixing it to a core metal, and using this as a filtrate passage. The liquid to be filtered enters from the outside of the coil, is filtered in a minute gap between the wire rods, and the filtrate flows out between the core metal and the coil. This element is a coil spring type, which is fixed only at both ends and floats in the middle, so it is not only difficult to maintain a minute gap between wires uniformly over the entire length, but also vibration is transmitted. There was a phenomenon that the coil shook, the adsorbed filter aid dropped, and leaked from the gap between the wire rods. In addition, when used for a long period of time, the gap between the wire rods fluctuates due to the weight of the coil material, and the filter aid may leak.

3) A wire having a triangular cross section is used, and spiral-shaped grooves are provided on the surface of the hollow tube, which is a core metal, at a predetermined pitch according to the wire. It is wound in a coil shape and the gap between the wire rods is maintained in a fine state in micron units. This is because, if manufactured accurately, the dimensional accuracy of the gap between the wire materials should be good, but in reality it is difficult to wrap it in a coil spring shape in a perfect circle due to changes in the internal stress of the material. It is difficult to make uniform gaps uniform. Further, even when the coil is attached to the spiral groove of the hollow tube, it is difficult to attach a fine gap to a constant value, and thus it is difficult to maintain the dimensional accuracy as intended.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention uses the wire rod itself provided with fine projections in order to maintain a gap between the wire rods. That is, the configuration of the present invention, a material having a protrusion on the outer surface is wound into a coil,
The liquid filtration filter element has a gap formed between the adjacent wheels by interposing the protrusion with the adjacent wheels, and the filter aid is attached to the clearance. Specifically, referring to the drawings, a part of the side surface is shown in FIG. 3, and a material having a projection A on the upper surface (the same on the lower surface) is shown in FIG. A part of the side surface is shown and the left end surface is shown in FIG. Since the protrusion A is interposed between the adjacent wheels of the coil, there is a height difference B (height of the protrusion A) between the upper wheel and the lower wheel shown in FIG. 4 between the adjacent wheels. A contact gap is formed.

A metal core 2 having a shape as shown in FIGS. 8A and 8B is passed through this, and a bottom metal fitting 4 is provided at one end and a top metal fitting is provided at the opposite end as shown in a longitudinal section of FIG. 1 and a plan view of FIG. 3 is fitted, fixed from the outside with nuts 5 and 6 and attached to the tube plate 7 to form the liquid filtering device. A filter aid 8 is provided around the filter element 1 of this filter device.
After depositing, the liquid to be filtered is passed through as indicated by the arrow in FIG. That is, the filtrate passes through the layer of the filter aid 8 from the outside of the filter element, enters the inside of the element through the gap of the material of the element 1, passes between the element and the core metal 2, and passes through the opening of the top metal fitting 3 into the pipe. It flows to the upper part of the plate 7. As a material used as the above-mentioned filter aid, pulp powder, activated carbon powder, barley stone powder, etc. are used as a liquid to be filtered using diatomaceous earth and diatom as a main component and as an additive suitable for the purpose of filtration.

In the filter element of the present invention, since the materials forming the coil are adjacent to each other through the projection A, the gap is determined by the height of the projection A, and the core metal 2 allows the adjacent wheels to contact each other. Since it is fixed to the coil, the coil has a cylindrical shape with a gap and does not vibrate. Furthermore, when a cored bar having a support plate 9 in contact with the inside of the coil is used, the shape of the filter element becomes more stable. Further, by changing the size of the protruding portion A, it is possible to act as a filter element suitable for fine filtration and coarse particle filtration, respectively.

The coil spring strip filter element 1 may not be in a close contact state but may be pitch wound with a gap between the coils. The reason is the filter element 1
In the installed state, in FIG. 1, if the filter element 1 is attached to the top metal fitting 3, the bottom metal fitting 4 is attached to the core metal 2 for preventing the fall, and the nut 5 is fixed, the coil winding is closely attached even if there is a gap between the coils. This is because it becomes a state.
Moreover, the wire rod used for the filter element may have any of a cross-sectional shape of an irregular shape, a square shape and a round shape as long as it has a protrusion. Hereinafter, the present invention will be specifically described with reference to examples.

As described above, according to the present invention, the coil spring-like solid is closely formed, and since it becomes a filter element, the hollow tube or the core metal / hollow tube does not need the spiral groove. The liquid inflow gap does not change, no matter how many times the filter element is attached and detached. Further, even if the contact coil portion is extended for cleaning, its performance can be maintained. Further, since the clearance for liquid inflow extends over the entire circumference of the coil, the filtration area becomes large, and the flow capacity can be improved.
