すると共に、当該紙継用粘着層18′の外側に沿って巻取
紙の始端部にほぼV字形の切目19を形成し、次に前記巻
取紙の始端部の前端側を引張ってこれを前記V字形の切
目19から切り離した後、前記巻取紙のV字形の先端部の
内側に巻取紙の繰り出し方向と垂直方向に短かい閉塞状
の切目20を形成すると共に、該切目20の外側の上面に前
記両面粘着テープ18の一端側を貼着してその先端側を所
定の長さだけ前方へ突出させた状態でこれを切断し、ま
た、前記V字形の先端部の閉塞状切目20の両側部に巻取
紙の繰り出し方向に短かい補強用の両面粘着テープ18″
を貼着し、最後に巻取紙13の始端部を巻き戻して前記V

特願昭60−92074号(特開昭61−248849号)及び実願昭6
0−86670号(実開昭61−203646号)に開示されたものを
使用しても良い。

部には巻取紙13の始端部尖端に粘着テープ18を突出状態
で貼着する際に粘着テープ18の粘着層がテーブル5上面
に付着するのを防止する為の切欠17が形成されている。
更に、図示していないが、テーブル5にはテーブル5に
形成した小孔と適宜位置に配置した真空ポンプ等から成
る真空吸引装置が設けられて居り、該真空吸引装置はテ

尖端部を有する略V字形の切目19を形成する。このと
き、巻取紙13の始端部は、テーブル5に設けた真空吸引
装置によりテーブル5上面へ吸引されて固定されてい
る。従つて、粘着層18′と切目19を所定位置に良好且つ
確実に形成することができる。尚、両面粘着テープ18の
貼着と切目19の形成の順序は、何れが先であつても良
い。又、切目19は、完全な切目とせず、両端部に僅かな
接続部を残した形態とし、一方、粘着層には紙の接着継
ぎをするときに巻取紙13を回転させる為の回転駆動装置
のベルトが接当するのに必要な間隙Lが形成されてい
る。更に、図示していないが、主処理器3内に保護紙剥
離器を設け、これにより貼着された両面粘着テープ18の
表面保護紙を連続的に剥離し、粘着層を露出させてい
る。この表面保護紙は、紙継用前処理が終了した後で剥
離するようにしても良い。

切目20を形成する。このとき、閉塞状切目20の近傍位置
に、尖端部分の切り離しを良好且つ確実に行えるように
主処理器3の粘着層形成装置により補強用の両面粘着テ
ープ18″を貼着する。尚、前記両面粘着テープ18の粘着
と閉塞状切目20の形成の順序は、何れが先であつても良
い。又、巻取紙13の始端部から突出する両面粘着テープ
18の他端は、テーブル5に形成した切欠17上方に位置す
る為、テーブル5に付着することがない。更に、この両
面粘着テープ18は、上面保護紙を剥離せず、上面粘着面
を隠蔽したままとする。加えて、閉塞状切目20の形状
は、両面粘着テープ18を貼着した尖端部分を始端部から
切り離すことができれば、任意である。

している両面粘着テープ18はテーブル5に付着すること
がない。

粘着テープ18″を貼着している為、尖端部分は閉塞状切
目20に沿つて良好且つ確実に切り離される。

(発明の効果) 上述の通り、本発明の前処理方法は、紙継用粘着層を
形成した巻取紙のV字形始端部の尖端上面に適宜長さの
粘着テープの一端を貼着すると共に、該V字形始端部に
前記粘着テープを貼着した尖端部分を切り離す為の閉塞
状切目を形成し、その後巻取紙の始端部を巻き戻して粘
着テープの他端を巻取紙の外表面へ貼着するようにした
為、人手若しくは自動紙継用前処理装置により巻取紙の
始端部に紙継用前処理を施す従来の前処理方法に比較し
てタブを省略することができる。その結果、従来の前処
理方法のようにタブの準備や巻取紙へのタブの貼着に手
数がかかつたりすると云うこともなく、作業能率の大幅
な向上を図れる。

え、装置自身の構造も簡略化できる。

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】巻取紙支持装置(1)、アーム装置
(2)、主処理器(3)、吸引装置(4)、テーブル
(5)及び巻取紙押圧装置(6)を備えた自動紙継用前
処理装置による巻取紙の自動紙継用前処理に於いて、回
転自在に支持した巻取紙(13)の表層部を取り除いたあ
と巻取紙(13)の始端部をテーブル(5)の上へ繰り出
し、その後前記巻取紙(13)の始端部の上面に両面粘着
テープをほぼV字形に貼着して紙継用粘着層(18′)を
形成すると共に、当該紙継用粘着層(18′)の外側に沿
って巻取紙の始端部にほぼV字形の切目(19)を形成
し、次に前記巻取紙の始端部の前端側を引張ってこれを
前記V字形の切目(19)から切り離した後、前記巻取紙
のV字形の先端部の内側に巻取紙の繰り出し方向と垂直
方向に短かい閉塞状の切目(20)を形成すると共に、該
切目(20)の外側の上面に前記両面粘着テープ(18)の
一端側を貼着してその先端側を所定の長さだけ前方へ突
出させた状態でこれを切断し、また、前記V字形の先端
部の閉塞状切目(20)の両側部に巻取紙の繰り出し方向
に短かい補強用の両面粘着テープ(18″)を貼着し、最
後に巻取紙(13)の始端部を巻き戻して前記V字形の先
端部より前方へ突出せしめた両面粘着テープ(18)の先
端側を巻取紙(13)の胴部外表面へ貼着するようにした
ことを特徴とする巻取紙の自動紙継用前処理方法。
