例えば特公昭43−21112号公報の不織シートの製造方法
で使用される装置として第2図の如き装置が記載されて
いる。すなわち、第2図において加熱ドラム11、冷却ド
ラム12、張力調整ロール13を無端ベルト14で連結し、無
端ベルトとドラムの間に被処理シート16を挾持して熱処
理を行うものである。15は無端ベルトの予熱帯である。
また、高密度で平滑面の不織布を得る方法として加熱シ
リンダー面に網状無端ベルトを押し当てて、加熱シリン
ダーと無端ベルトとの間に被処理不織布を挾持して熱処
理を行うことが特公昭45−10784号公報、特公昭43−358
22号公報、特公昭53−19700号公報、特公昭57−29590号

トを押圧することができる。すなわち、従来の金属ロー
ルあるいは硬質ゴムロールに比較して被処理シートは弱
い圧力で長時間の熱処理ができるため、被処理シートの
