Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the portable equipment or the like even equipped with a remote control to house a cord by a method wherein another cord is connected to the remote control of the portable equipment, and only the cord which connects the equipment main body with the remote control is housed in the equipment main body. CONSTITUTION:A main body 1 is equipped with a winding part, and a cord 3 is set ready to be wound by a winding button 5. When the main body 1 is in use, a remote control 2 is dismounted from the main body 1 as it is pulled resisting a retaining force of a projection 6, a plug of an earphone is inserted in the remote control 2, and the cord 3 is pulled out as long as necessary. When the cord of an earphone is set shortish, it is not so impedimental. An earphone can easily be replaced.
