【発明の効果】以上説明した様に、本発明によれば、操
作具はボディに配列した複数のキーを備えており指で選
択操作する事により所望のキー情報をコンピュータに入
力する一方、ボディに組み込まれた投光検出器を備えて
おりボディの姿勢に応じて変化する操作具側から見た投
光の入射方位を検出しポインティング情報としてコンピ
ュータに入力する。これにより作業者の手を移動させる
事なくキー情報とポインティング情報を入力できるので
操作効率を改善できるという効果がある。又一対の光源
と二次元撮像素子を組み合わせる事により四次元ポイン
ティング情報を入力する事が可能になりマルチメディア
応用やバーチャルリアリティ応用に適しているという効
果がある。さらに、ボディに配列した複数のキーを二ブ
ロックに分け各々母音要素と子音要素を割り当てる事に
よりハンディタイプの操作具でカナ文字文章等の入力が
できる様になるという効果がある。加えて、ボディにコ
ンピュータやディスプレイを一体化させる事により自由
な作業姿勢で使用できる携帯情報機器が実現できるとい
