ld and Gimingham, 1927. Annals of Applied Biology 1
4: 331-358). Although it was not used with the spread of chemically synthesized pesticides such as BHC and DDT after that, it has low human animal toxicity and persistence, has little effect on biota including natural enemies, and is resistant to target mites and insects. Since it has extremely excellent properties as compared with other chemical agents such as no chemicals, its value is being reviewed in recent years, and a new patent application for insecticides and acaricides has been filed (JP-A-48-96719). ,
JP-A-62-169703). However, the insecticides utilizing these fatty acids and fatty acid salts have a slightly weaker effect than many chemical agents that are currently generally used, and the amount of active ingredient required to obtain the same effect is large. ,
It has a problem in terms of control cost, and is not widely used even now, as social regulations on chemical pesticides are becoming stricter. Therefore, in order to compensate for those drawbacks, a method of adding various substances for the purpose of lowering the effective concentration of the insecticidal active ingredient has been devised. However, it is true that many of these additives are mixed with the active ingredient and formulated into a single liquid formulation because if they are mixed in the required amount in advance into the liquid concentrate, precipitation or solidification occurs. It was difficult. In addition, formulating them as separate agents not only increases packaging costs and transportation costs, but also necessitates mixing two agents at the time of spraying, thus improving workability at the site of use. Was sacrificed.

The insecticidal activity was investigated. As a result, when oleic acid itself is added to oleate, and when they are present in a specific ratio, a remarkably higher insecticidal activity than that expected from the insecticidal effect of oleate or oleic acid itself is obtained. I found it. Furthermore, they have found that the addition of an appropriate acid component such as hydrochloric acid or acetic acid to oleate can achieve exactly the same effect, and completed the present invention.

Insecticide formulations containing oleate and oleic acid can be prepared by adding oleic acid itself to oleate, or by adding other acids to oleate, or in advance with a solvent such as ethanol. In dissolved oleic acid, or a mixture of oleic acid and other acids,
It can be obtained by mixing an aqueous solution of potassium hydroxide or sodium hydroxide in an amount less than the neutralization equivalent or other oleic acid with a base forming a salt.

When oleic acid itself is added as an acid in this way, the amount of oleic acid added and the content of oleic acid in the insecticide are the same. Therefore, if oleic acid is added at the above-mentioned ratio, the content of oleic acid in the insecticide is 1 to 40%, 5 to 20%, and 7 to 15% of the content of oleate, respectively.
It will be in the range of%. When the content of oleic acid deviates from the range of 1 to 40% of the content of oleate, the insecticidal effect remains the same as that of oleate alone, or conversely the activity decreases. Furthermore, as acids other than oleic acid, which show the same effect by producing oleic acid when added to oleate preparations, organic acids such as fatty acids having 1 to 20 carbon atoms and inorganic acids such as hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid Examples thereof include acids, but the acidity is not limited thereto as long as the acidity is equal to or higher than that of oleic acid. The acid added here does not have to be a pure product, and an acid containing impurities such as edible vinegar or wood vinegar may be used. Regarding the amount when these acids are added instead of oleic acid, the amount of the oleic acid salt content and the oleic acid content in the solution when diluted is the above ratio, that is, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, etc. For strong acids, the molar ratio of oleate is 1 to 40%, preferably 5 to 20%, more preferably 7 to 15%.

As a control, oleic acid was also prepared as a 30% ethanol solution, which was diluted 100 times with distilled water and suspended. 2 mL of each drug solution, diameter 3 cm, height
Using a glass atomizer, it was sprayed on the green peach aphid colonies (30 to 50 individuals) on the Japanese radish seedlings (actual leaf 2 leaf stage) cultivated in a 10 cm glass tube. After spraying 25
After being left for 16 hours at 60 ° C and 60% humidity, the aphids were judged to be alive or dead. The experiment was repeated 5 times for each plot. As shown in Table 1, when oleic acid was added to oleate in the range of 5 to 20%, the result was higher than that of oleate alone and calculated from the insecticidal rate of oleic acid and oleate alone. It was revealed that the insecticidal effect was higher than expected value. Furthermore, oleic acid is added to oleic acid
When 10% was added, the insecticidal effect was equal to or higher than that of 0.6% oleate alone, that is, the amount of active ingredient (oleate + oleic acid) could be halved.

Cucumber (four leaves) at the 5-7 leaf stage of true leaves, which was diluted 0-fold and cultivated in a glass house using a planter, had 50 per plant.
It was sprayed at a rate of mL. Immediately before and 1 day after spraying, the number of pre-marked cotton aphids on specific leaves was counted to determine the effect. The test was repeated 5 times. As a result, as shown in Table 5, the insecticide of the present invention showed an excellent control effect equal to or higher than that of the agent containing only potassium oleate as an active ingredient at a half dose.
