る。Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a passenger conveyor such as an escalator and an electric road, and more particularly to a passenger conveyor having an improved support structure of a guide frame for supporting a handrail and its assembly. Regarding the method. 2. Description of the Related Art As a balustrade structure for a passenger conveyor, a plurality of fasteners are attached to the upper edge of the balustrade panel at intervals as described in, for example, JP-A-60-178182. There is a guide frame fixed to guide the moving handrail. In the above-mentioned conventional structure, when the mounting position of the fixing tool on the balustrade panel is deviated, the mounting position of the guide frame on the fixing tool is deviated. There is a problem that the frame cannot be attached to the fixture. Therefore, at the installation site,
A great deal of effort is spent, because the mounting position of the guide frame to the fixture must be corrected. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a passenger conveyor and a method of assembling the same so that the guide frame can be mounted without modification. The above object of the present invention is to provide a plurality of fixtures fixed to the edge of the balustrade panel at intervals in the longitudinal direction, with an intermediate member movable in the longitudinal direction. This is accomplished by attaching a guide frame to the fixture which supports and supports the moving handrail via this intermediate member. According to the above construction, the guide frame is not directly attached to the fixture, but is attached via the intermediate member which is movable in the longitudinal direction. Therefore, the guide frame is generated between the fixture and the guide frame. The offset can be absorbed within the moving range of the intermediate member, and the troublesome correction work on site can be eliminated. An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3. As shown in FIG. 3, a passenger conveyor, such as an escalator, has a plurality of steps 1 that are endlessly connected and move from one entrance / exit to the other entrance and exit, and balustrades 2 erected on both sides of the steps 1. The balustrade 2 is provided with a standing balustrade panel 3 and a moving handrail 4 which is guided along the end of the balustrade panel 3 and is driven in synchronization with the step 1. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the supporting structure of the moving handrail 4 on the balustrade panel 3 is as follows. First, a plurality of fixing members 5 are provided on the upper edge of the balustrade panel 3 with a space in the longitudinal direction.
Are bonded with an adhesive 6, a guide frame 7 is attached to the fixture 5, and the moving handrail 4 is guided by a guide member 10 attached to the upper portion of the guide frame 7. The guide frame 7 is constructed by back-to-back joining a main deck 8 having a U-shaped section with the opening side facing downward and a sub-deck 9 having a U-shaped section having the opening side facing upward. Further, each of the fixing members 5 has a substantially U-shaped fitting groove G 1 opening downward to fit the upper edge of the balustrade panel 3 and a substantially C-shaped engaging groove G opening upward. 2 and 2 are formed in the same direction. Then, the engaging groove G 2 of each of the fixtures 5
The is to be moved only in the longitudinal direction of the balustrade panel 3 In other refers longitudinal groove G 2 head 11A of the intermediate member bolt 11 is inserted. On the other hand, the threaded portion 11B of the bolt 11 projects upward from the narrow opening 5M of the engaging groove G 2 . The main deck 8 of the guide frame 7
At the back-to-back portion between the sub-deck 9 and the sub-deck 9, the bolts 11 are provided at the same intervals as the mounting intervals of the fixture 5 to the balustrade panel 3.
Is provided with a bolt hole H including a hole H 1 penetrating the head portion 11A and an elongated hole H 2 penetrating the screw portion 11B. Then, as shown by an arrow M, the guide frame 7
On the balustrade panel 3 and then the hole H as shown by the arrow N.
Through the 1 supporting the head 11A of the bolt 11 to the fixture 5, a threaded portion 11B of the bolt 11, to move the long hole of H 2 guide frames 7, the nut 12 on the penetrating end
The guide frame 7 can be fixed to the edge of the balustrade panel 3 by screwing in and tightening, and the moving handrail 4 can be guided. By the way, the intervals between the bolt holes H provided in the guide frame 7 are accurately machined in the factory, but the fixing members 5 are adjacent to each other so that the fixing members 5 are manually adhered to each other over the entire length of the balustrade. The interval cannot be set according to the Nakajin command, and will vary over the entire length. This fixture 5
If the bolts 11 are fixed to the fixture 5 (prior art) or if the fixture 5 is provided with a screw hole and the bolt is screwed through the bolt hole of the guide frame, The spacing between the adjacent bolts 11 and the spacing between the bolt holes H or the spacing between the bolt holes H and the spacing between the screw holes provided in the fixture 5 do not match, so that the bolts cannot be penetrated or screwed. For this reason, the guide frame must be installed while correcting the positions of the bolt holes and the screw holes in the field at the disagreement intervals. However, according to the present embodiment, the bolt 11
Since the fixing tool 5 is supported so as to be movable in the longitudinal direction of the balustrade, even if the interval of the fixing tool 5 is deviated from the interval of the bolt holes H of the guide frame 7, for example, the bolt 11 is provided with the engaging groove. It is possible to move the bolts 11 in the direction of G 2 to match the intervals between the adjacent bolts 11 with the intervals between the corresponding bolt holes H. Therefore, there is no need for correction work at the installation site,
Assembling work can be facilitated. Further, the operation of adhering the fixing tool 5 to the balustrade panel 3 is not required to be accurate. For example, it is sufficient to give an instruction to attach within a few mm before and after the adhering position, and the adhering operation becomes simple. The balustrade structure of the above embodiment is a structure without an illumination lamp. Therefore, in this embodiment, the closing members 13A and 13B are attached to the open ends of the main deck 8 to close the gap. . As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to obtain the passenger conveyor having excellent assembling workability in which the mounting of the guide frame can be performed without performing the correction process.
