Traditionally, it has been essential to use pesticides and chemical fertilizers to promote the gentle growth of turf, but in recent years, especially in the case of pesticides, toxicity and persistence issues have led to the use of such types and quantities. Is being regulated more strictly year by year. However, when used within the regulated range, there are various difficulties in ensuring sufficient growth of grass.

For example, in order to grow enough turf with the minimum use of pesticides, it is necessary to develop a chemical fertilizer to be used together with advanced management technology. However, the development of safer pesticides and fertilizers is expensive. In addition, depending on the amount and method of use, it may have various effects on the natural environment. On the other hand, advanced management technology requires a lot of experience and knowledge.

That is, the present inventors have found that the fruit, leaves, roots, bark, etc. of the plant of the genus Melia, as they are or after being processed, are applied to turf to show an excellent growth effect, Has reached. Therefore, the method adopted in the present invention is extremely simple. Further, in the present invention, by using a natural plant as a raw material, problems such as toxicity can be eliminated, and there is an advantage that it is rapidly decomposed and absorbed in the natural world. Also, it can be used in combination with pesticides and chemical fertilizers.

Example 1 Peeling grass growing in the field (Himekorai turf) was peeled off within a range of 12 m × 5 m, and the peeled ground part was divided into 4 parcels with 3 m × 5 m as one parcel, and each parcel was divided into (a), (b), (C) and (d),
500g of leaves of Melia azedarach L. in the compartment (a), 1k of crushed fruits of Melia azedarach L. in the compartment (b)
g, and 1 kg of Melia azedarach L. seedlings were evenly sown in the section (c) to restore all turf to the treated sections (a), (b), (c) and untreated section (d). We compared the growth of grass. After 3 weeks, the growth-deficient part was scattered on the grass (d) in the untreated plot, but the growth-deficient part was hardly observed in the grass in any of the treatment plots, and the growth of the grass was good.

Azadirachta indica crushed into one
A. 100 g of Juss fruit was evenly sprayed once every three weeks. After three months, most of the grass in the untreated area has died,
The grass in the treated area showed good growth.

Example 3 Melia japonica G. Don seeds (crushed product) were sprinkled on a part of grass (Penlinks bent) that had been eaten by pests, and the pesticide (Sumithion trademark) diluted 1000 times over the entire grass. Was sprayed and the recovery status of the grass was observed. After 2 weeks, most of the food damage was recovered, especially Melia japonica G. Do.
The turf on which n fruits were sprayed showed a very good recovery situation compared to the other parts. Similar experiments with Melia japonica
It was performed using the leaves of G. Don, and also showed a very good recovery situation.

Example 4 1 kg of Azadirachta indica A. Juss fruit (ground product) was added to 1 kg of methanol, and the mixture was stirred for 10 hours, and the resulting methanol extract was diluted 500 times with water to prepare 5 m 2 of grass (Bermuda grass).
When sprayed once per 3 weeks,
Growth was poor in a large part of the grass in the untreated area, but poor growth was hardly seen in the sprayed grass, indicating a good growth situation.

Example 5 3 kg of Melia azedarach L. fruit was squeezed to obtain 100 cc of juice. The squeezed juice was diluted 300 times with water and sprayed once every 3 weeks once for every 5 m 2 of turf (old orchard vent) in the same manner as in Example 4. Although there were some defects, the grass that had been sprayed showed almost no poor growth, indicating a good growth condition.

Example 6 A was obtained by mixing dried Melia azedarach L. leaf powder 1 with heat-treated eye soil at a ratio of 20 (weight ratio),
Grass for test (Koryo turf), with B for heat treated sole
Was divided into two sections, and A was used for one side and B for the other side as soil. Two months later, the grass in the section using A showed a better growth condition than the grass in the section using B, and showed a good growth condition.
