Then, the granular material layer hydrated by the supply is frozen by a cooling means, and the layer of the particulate frozen material on the layer of the frozen granular material layer is used as an artificial snow layer. Then, in order to supply the granular frozen matter and water onto the granular material layer, supercooled water is sprinkled on the granular material layer, and the ice particles generated in the supercooled water by the impact accompanying the sprinkling of the granular material layer are granulated. It is preferable to use the above-mentioned granular frozen material supplied to the material layer.

The step of spraying water on the granular material layer, which is necessary for the above, is unnecessary. In particular, when sprinkling supercooled water to sprinkle the granular frozen matter, an ice-making machine is not required, and even the sprinkling of the granular frozen matter can be handled as a liquid advantageous for pipeline transportation and the like.

Although 1 is composed of sand, it may be composed of a water-absorbent polymer. In the above-mentioned embodiment, by sprinkling the supercooled water, the formation of the granular frozen matter and the supply of the water to the granular material layer B1 are simultaneously performed. However, the mixture of the ice particles and the water is supplied. Alternatively, a water-absorbent polymer may be allowed to absorb water to form a gel, and the frozen gel prepared by freezing the gel may be supplied as a granular frozen product.
