Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable safe drying in a short time even if clothing cleaned by solvent is additionally cast in temporary stoppage of drying running. CONSTITUTION:A circulating path 3 for circulating drying blast by a blower 5 is disposed in a drum 2 receiving clothing. A heater 7 for heating the drying blast and a condenser 6 for condensing solvent from the drying blast are disposed in the circulating path 3. An inlet temperature sensor 22 and outlet temperature sensor 23 are disposed in the circulating path 3. A comparator for comparing a temperature signal of the outlet temperature sensor 23 with the flash point temperature of the solvent, a key board for controlling the running operation, a door switch for detecting the opening and closing conditions of the door in drying running and a controlling means for controlling the operations of the blower 5, heater 7 and condenser 6 are provided together. The controller means stops the operation of the heater 7 to resume the drying running when the door switch is operated during drying running and the outlet 3b has a temperature higher than the flash point temperature.

2. Description of the Related Art In a conventional clothes dryer of this type, the temperature of the dry air supplied into the drum is controlled by a temperature sensor at the drum inlet.
The heater and the blower are controlled so as to be lower than the ignition temperature of the flammable solvent, and the heater is controlled to be turned on and off in order to keep the temperature of the dry air at a predetermined temperature. As an example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 3-8797 (D0

Further, Japanese Patent Application No. 4-209143 (D
06F43 / 08) determines the concentration of solvent gas evaporated from clothes by the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet of the drum and controls the concentration within the safe gas concentration, and also determines the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet temperatures of the drum as the safe temperature. It keeps the difference and controls. Then, when the solvent gas concentration becomes thin, the set temperature of the inlet and outlet temperatures of the drum is gradually increased and controlled so as to maintain a safe temperature difference, and the drying control is shown in which the outlet temperature is gradually made higher than the flash point temperature. There is.

However, in the case of drying clothes washed with such a flammable solvent, in the former conventional example, the temperature at the inlet of the drum is controlled to be below the flash point temperature. It is safe because it is dried at a low temperature, but there is a problem that the drying time is long and the running cost is high.

In the latter conventional example, the temperature is controlled within the safe gas concentration while keeping the safe temperature difference. Therefore, it is good not to add the dried product, but it is temporarily stopped during the drying operation and after the cleaning, When additional clothes are added to the drum and dried, the solvent content rapidly evaporates from the undried clothes, the concentration of solvent gas in the drum suddenly rises above the explosion lower limit concentration, and the drum outlet temperature is the flash point temperature. It is dangerous because it is above.

Further, according to the second technical means, when the clothes washed during the drying operation are added to the drum and re-operated, the set value of the inlet temperature sensor is changed to a predetermined safe temperature and the drying operation is performed. The temperature of the drying air is rapidly suppressed after the operation of the heater is restarted, and the rapid increase of the solvent gas concentration is prevented.

The door of the drum 2 is opened in order to add the dried material to the drum 2 during the drying operation. At this time, since the door switch 37 is turned off, the water supply valve 10 of the condenser 6, the steam valve 11 and the steam exhaust valve 12 of the heater 7 are closed. Then, the blower motor 5 and the drive motor 35 for the drum 2 are also stopped (S-1).

If the predetermined time before the ON operation is within 30 seconds, for example, it is input as a temporary stop for additional charging, and the drying operation is restarted (S-12). Then, as with the start of drying, it is compared whether the temperature of the outlet 3b of the drum 2 is below the flash point temperature, and when it is below the flash point temperature, the heater 7 is turned on and heating control is performed. Then, the inlet set temperature is the predetermined safe temperature (50

As described above, when the dry matter is additionally charged, the heating start by the heater 7 is postponed until the temperature of the outlet 3b of the drum 2 becomes equal to or lower than the flash point temperature, and the solvent gas concentration becomes lower than the explosion lower limit concentration. It holds safely so that it does not exceed 0.6%. Even if the heater 7 starts heating, the inlet set temperature is changed to a predetermined safe temperature (50 ° C) and the drying operation is continued, so additional dry matter is added even if added. The temperature of the dry air can be controlled while maintaining the safe temperature difference as before the introduction, and it is possible to prevent a sharp rise in solvent gas concentration, which is safe.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION According to the present invention, even after the washing operation is temporarily stopped during the drying operation and the washed clothes are additionally charged and the drying operation is continued again, the drying is performed until the temperature at the outlet portion of the drum becomes the flash point temperature or less. Since the drying operation is restarted without heating the air, it is possible to prevent the solvent gas concentration in the drum from rapidly increasing and to safely continue the drying operation within the safe gas concentration.

Further, after the temporary stop, the inlet temperature sensor-
Since the set value of is changed to the specified safe temperature and the drying operation is restarted, the safe temperature difference can be easily maintained, and the rise in the outlet temperature can be suppressed to prevent the solvent gas concentration from rising early. Since the temperature can be controlled, it is possible to dry safely and quickly even if it is added.

Further, after the temporary stop, the inlet temperature sensor-
Since the set value of is changed to a predetermined safe temperature and the drying operation is restarted, the temperature of the drying air can be suppressed sharply after the start of operation of the heater, and temperature control can be performed to prevent a sharp increase in solvent gas concentration. A safe temperature difference can be maintained.

1. A drum for containing clothes washed with a flammable solvent, a circulation path for returning the dry air in the drum to the drum again by a blower, and a heater arranged in the circulation path for heating the dry air. And a condenser that condenses the solvent from the dry air,
A drum inlet temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the drying air before drying, a drum outlet temperature sensor for detecting the drying air temperature after drying, and a temperature signal from the outlet temperature sensor and the flash point temperature of the solvent. A comparator for comparing the above, a keyboard for inputting a dry operation by a key operation, a door switch for detecting the open / closed state of the door of the drum, the blower, the heater and the condenser. And a control means for controlling the operation of the vessel and the like, and the control means receives a release signal and a closing signal from the door switch during the dry operation and a signal higher than the flash point temperature from the comparator. At this time, the clothes dryer is characterized in that the operation of the heater is stopped until the temperature becomes lower than the flash point temperature.
