Structure of the conventional example and its problems The conventional example will be explained using FIGS. 3 to 5. Reference numeral 1 denotes a cooler in an economical harmonizer (not shown), and a drain pan 3 is provided at the bottom of the cooler to store dehumidified water 2 dehumidified by the cooler 1. The drain pan 3 is provided with a liquid level detection device 5 for detecting the position of the liquid level 4 of the dehumidified water 2, and a drain pump 6 for draining the dehumidified water 2. The drain pump 6 operates for a predetermined time when the liquid level detection device 5 detects a predetermined water level, pumps the dehumidified water 2 to a drain port (not shown) formed in the upper part of the air conditioner casing, and drains the water from the casing. It is excreted outside the body.

The liquid level detection device 5 includes a hollow vertical shaft 8 containing a reed switch 7, a lead wire 9 connected to an external control circuit (not shown), and a vertical shaft 8 for sealing the inside of the vertical shaft 8. A mold 10 , a nut 11 for fixing the vertical shaft 8 to a mounting member (not shown), a float 12 that is driven up and down along the vertical shaft 8 , and a lower end 1 of the vertical shaft 8 .
3 and a stopper 14 to prevent it from falling off. The float 12 has a clearance 15 between it and the vertical shaft 8 for smooth sliding thereon, and has a built-in magnet 16 for opening and closing the contacts of the reed switch 7. Further, the outer peripheral shape of the float 12 is cylindrical. As the liquid level 4 of the dehumidified water 2 fluctuates up and down, the float 12 moves up and down, and the magnet 16
The reed switch 7 opens and closes. Therefore, liquid level detection was performed.

Conventionally, in this structure, dirt such as water scale 1 is deposited in the clearance 15 between the float 12 and the vertical shaft 8.
As a result, a problem occurred in that the float 12 did not slide despite the vertical fluctuation of the liquid level 4, and normal liquid level detection was not performed.

Structure of the Invention In order to achieve this object, the present invention provides a float with a notch that is inclined in the circumferential direction of the float and extends in a direction that intersects with the liquid surface, and rotates the float by utilizing the ripple phenomenon of the liquid surface. The clearance between the vertical shaft and the float is made to be free from water scale, etc., without changing the external dimensions of conventional floats.

DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. Since the liquid level detection device 18 of the present invention differs from the conventional example only in the float 12, the same components are given the same reference numerals and detailed explanation thereof will be omitted.

The liquid level detection device 18 has a float 19 that slides along a vertical shaft 8 containing a reed switch 7 to open and close the reed switch. The float 19 has a structure that extends in a direction inclined in the circumferential direction of the float 19 to intersect with the liquid level 4 and in a direction inclined in the radial direction of the float 19 to intersect with the liquid level 4, and in a helical direction symmetrical with respect to the vertical axis 8. It has an extended notch 20. Therefore, the float 1
When the float 9 receives waves from the liquid surface 4, the notch 20 receives the force of the waves and the float 19 begins to rotate about the vertical axis 8. At this time, the notch 20 is inclined in the radial direction of the float 19 and extends in a direction that intersects with the liquid level 4, and also extends in a spiral direction symmetrical with respect to the vertical axis 8, making it easier to rotate. As a result, water does not stay in the clearance 15 between the vertical shaft 8 and the float 19, so that dirt 17 such as water scale does not stay there. As a result, since the notch 20 is provided inside the float 19,
Without changing the external dimensions from the conventional float 12, the phenomenon of dust clogging between the vertical shaft 8 and the float 19 does not occur, and the effect that the liquid level can always be accurately detected can be obtained.

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the above explanation, the present invention has the following effects:
A vertical shaft with a built-in reed switch, a float that slides up and down along the vertical axis to open and close the reed switch, and a notch on the outer periphery of the float that slopes in the circumferential direction of the float and extends in the direction of merging with the liquid level. Because it is a liquid level detection device that consists of two parts, it does not need to be larger than conventional floats, and the float is rotated using the undulations of the liquid surface, so there is no clogging of the vertical axis and the float, and the liquid level is always accurately detected. You can get the effect that you can.
