Conventionally, a recess for storing a television receiver is formed in the front part of the armrest of various seats of aircraft or vehicles, and a hinge mechanism with a support mechanism fixed to the upper front end of the recess is attached to the support mechanism. It has been proposed that the television receiver is pivoted so as to be able to move in and out of the recess, and that a television receiver is attached to the support mechanism so as to be rotatable in the front and back and left and right directions.

However, when the television receiver is configured to be stored in the recess of the armrest, the wiring cord for the power supply of the television receiver and the output of the VTR must be placed in the recess, and the hinge mechanism cannot be rotated. As a result, the wiring cord is pulled or pressed, bent, and in the worst case, cut by the equipment.

Furthermore, in order to allow the wiring cord to freely expand and contract in response to the rotation of the hinge mechanism, it is conceivable to wind the wiring cord in a spiral shape so as to extend it along the outer periphery of the support mechanism. However, when the television receiver is put in and taken out, the wiring cord becomes entangled with the support mechanism or the hinge mechanism, making it impossible to take out the television receiver easily.

The present invention was devised in view of the above-mentioned problems, and by reducing fluctuations in the wiring cord due to the rotation of the television receiver relative to the armrest, it increases its durability and eliminates the above-mentioned causes of failure that occur in the wiring cord. It is an object of the present invention to provide a wiring holding mechanism for a television receiver that can eliminate the problem.

In order to achieve the above object, the wire holding mechanism for a television receiver according to the present invention forms a recess for storing the television receiver in the front part of the armrest of various seats of an aircraft or vehicle, and an upper part of the front end of the recess. A hinge mechanism having a support mechanism fixed thereon is pivotally installed so that the support mechanism can move in and out of the recess, and the television receiver is attached to the support mechanism in the front and back and left and right directions. In a rotatably mounted television receiver, the fixed end of the wiring guide, which is bent into a substantially arc shape toward the inside of the armrest recess, is rotatably mounted on the base end of the support mechanism in the direction of rotation. At the same time, a guide hole is formed at the tip of the wiring guide, and a protective tube with an opening facing the guide hole of the wiring guide is disposed in the armrest recess, and a protective tube is provided in the support mechanism section. The gist is to route the inserted television receiver wiring cord through the wiring guide and the inside of the protective tube.

The support mechanism section 6 horizontally rotates the television receiver 4 mounted on the upper part of the support mechanism section 6, and adjusts the orientation of the television display section 5 of the television receiver 4 with respect to the line of sight of the user. A ball shaft 6b, which is vertically disposed from the lower surface of a television holder 8 formed at the lower edge of the television receiver 4, is rotatably held by a ball bearing 6a formed on the 7 side. This TV holder 8 has a structure in which a groove is formed to be fitted from the side of the bottom of the TV receiver 4, and it can be attached and detached as appropriate. If the TV receiver 4 breaks down, the TV holder 8 can be easily removed by removing screws, etc. The receiver 4 can be configured to be replaceable. Then,
The television receiver 4 is rotatably supported within a range of approximately 90 degrees around a spherical shaft 6b, and can be held at a storage position and a viewing position.

12 is a wiring guide formed in a substantially arc shape. A guide hole 13 for the wiring cord 10 is formed in the distal end 12a of the wiring guide 12, and the fixed end 12b of the wiring guide 12 is provided at the lower front side of the base end 6a of the support mechanism section 6. The guide 12 is rotatably pivoted with its curved inner surface facing the hinge mechanism 7 side. Further, as shown in FIG. 2, an opening 1 is provided in the recess 2 of the armrest 1.
4a faces the guide hole 13 side of the wiring guide 12, and a protective tube 14 is provided which is bent toward the lower surface of the armrest 1 in a substantially hook shape. The wiring cord 10 is pulled out from the other end of the protective tube 14 to the outside of the armrest 1, and is connected to the relay connector 1.

Thus, as shown in FIG. 6a, the support mechanism section 6
When the television receiver 4 is stored, the wiring cord 10 inserted into the insertion hole 9 is connected to the support mechanism 6 in conjunction with the storing operation of the television receiver 4, as shown in FIG. 6b. When the armrest 1 rotates forward and downward about the hinge mechanism 7, it is guided by the curved inner surface of the wiring guide 12 and the guide hole 13, and is pushed back toward the opening 14a of the protection tube 14. That is, the guide hole 13 of the wiring guide 12 is always aligned with the protective tube 14 in any state in which the support mechanism part 6 is upright, in the middle of being stored in the recess 2, or in any state in which it is stored in the recess 2. Opening 1
It will face 4a side. Therefore, the wiring cord 10 inserted through the guide hole 13 can smoothly slide forward and backward within the wiring guide 12 and the protective tube 14 in response to the rotation of the support mechanism section 6. It does not interfere with the movement of the image receiver 4 in and out, and does not protrude to the support mechanism section 6 or hinge mechanism 7 side and get tangled.

Reference numeral 16 denotes a protective strap made of a bendable or stretchable soft material and stretched between the tip 12a of the wiring guide 12 and the opening 14a of the protective tube 14. In this embodiment, the protective strap 16 is fixed on the wiring guide 12 side, and the magic tape 17 is fixed on the opening 14a side of the protective tube 14.
It is configured to be detachable at will. Therefore, when the television receiver 4 is stored, the protective strap 16 can reliably guide the wiring cord 10 toward the protective tube 14 that holds the wiring cord 10. 14 openings 14a can prevent it from getting caught.
