After industrially produced long fabrics are processed, such as pretreatment, dyeing, mercerization, and shrinking, a cleaning process is required to wash the fabric, and after these cleaning processes, A drying process is required to dry this continuously. As a conventional example of this continuous drying means, for example, as shown in FIG. By transferring the fabric 2 to be dried through the cylinder drying chamber 4 arranged in the cylinder drying chamber 4 while sequentially contacting the many thermal cylinders 3, the drying of the fabric led out from the drying chamber 4 is completed. There is a cylinder dryer. However, in such conventional thermal cylinder dryers, the wet fabric is brought into contact with the thermal cylinder 3 heated to, for example, 125 to 130°C to vaporize the moisture attached to the fabric. Since there is no forced removal action for the vaporized moisture generated around the fabric, the heating of the thermal cylinder 3 prevents the moisture immediately after leaving the fabric or the vapor layer generated on the fabric surface to re-deposit. etc., and it takes a long time to complete drying, and furthermore, if the heating power to the fabric is insufficient due to heat radiation from the surrounding surface of the heat cylinder, it is necessary to arrange multiple heat cylinders. As a result, the size of the drying chamber 4 and the amount of thermal energy consumed increased, resulting in problems in terms of equipment costs, drying costs, drying efficiency, etc.

The present invention was devised to solve the problems with conventional cylinder dryers, and allows vaporized moisture generated when a water-containing fabric comes into contact with a heating cylinder to be separated and removed more efficiently than the fabric itself, thereby drying the fabric. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a cylinder dryer that improves efficiency and is useful for energy saving.

The fabric 12 is transferred while being
is gradually dried by receiving the heating power of the heat cylinder 11. In this embodiment, a plurality of reflective plates 13 are arranged corresponding to the cloth contacting surface of the thermal cylinder 11, and are spaced apart from the thermal cylinder surface and in the rotating direction of the thermal cylinder 11. As shown in FIG. 2, the shape of the reflecting plate 13 consists of a curved surface portion 13a having approximately the same curvature as the peripheral surface curvature of the thermal cylinder 11, and side wall portions 13b formed at both side edges of the curved surface portion 13a. The mutual distance R between both side wall portions 13b is
The length is set to be slightly larger than the axial length of the heat cylinder 11. Further, the arrangement of these reflecting plates 13 is as shown in FIG.
is positioned so that it faces the rotational direction of the thermal cylinder 11, and the gap between the tip A of the reflector 13 and the thermal cylinder 11 is narrower than the gap between the rear end B and the thermal cylinder 11. , a plurality of (four in this embodiment) reflectors 13 are arranged such that the rear end B of the other reflector 13 is positioned over the tip A of one of the adjacent reflectors 13 in a spaced manner. are arranged on the fabric contacting surface of the thermal cylinder 11.

In addition, a large number of reflective plates are arranged so that the distance between the tip A of each reflective plate and the thermal cylinder 11 is smaller than the distance between the rear end B and the thermal cylinder 11, and one of the adjacent reflective plates is Since the rear end B of the other reflecting plate 13 is arranged so as to be spaced above the leading end A of the reflecting plate 13, the leading end part of the reflecting plate 13, which is particularly between these reflecting plates 13, Between A and the heat cylinder 11, steam turbulence occurs due to the rotation of the heat cylinder 11, and due to this turbulence, steam heat (heat of vaporization) generated from the fabric 12 is easily separated from the surface of the fabric.

The action of forcibly removing (separating from the fabric surface) the humid vapor layer floating on the fabric surface as it is scraped off by the movement of the fabric is repeatedly performed by the plurality of reflective plates. The drying efficiency is significantly improved. Since low-humidity outside air is sucked and supplied from the gap provided between the tip A of each succeeding reflector 13 and the rear end B of the preceding reflector, high-humidity air and low-humidity air are mixed. This has a large displacement effect, and even with this, extremely effective fabric drying can be carried out continuously.

As described above, the present invention has a plurality of reflective plates facing at least the contact surface of the fabric to be dried of the heat cylinder, with the end in the rotational direction of the heat cylinder being the tip and the opposite side being the rear end. Each reflector is spaced apart on the heat cylinder such that the distance between the tip and the heat cylinder is smaller than the gap between the rear end and the heat cylinder, and the tip of one of the adjacent reflectors is The cylinder dryer is characterized in that the rear end of the other reflecting plate is arranged so as to be spaced apart from the rear end of the other reflecting plate.

Therefore, according to the present invention, the adsorbed vapor generated (floating) on the surface of the fabric that is guided in contact with the thermal cylinder by the gap between the tip A of the reflector 13 and the thermal cylinder surface. Because the layer is scraped off by the movement of the fabric as the heat cylinder rotates, the action of forcibly removing (separating from the fabric surface) the humid vapor layer floating on the fabric surface is caused by multiple reflective plates. The drying efficiency of the fabric is significantly improved. In addition, turbulence occurs between the tips of these reflectors and the heat cylinder due to the rotation of the heat cylinder, and this turbulence causes the steam heat (heat of vaporization) generated from the fabric to easily separate from the surface of the fabric. Become,
Furthermore, since low-humidity outside air is sucked and supplied from the gap provided between the tip of each succeeding reflector and the rear end of the preceding reflector, high-humidity air and low-humidity air are mixed. It has a large displacement action and is characterized by the ability to effectively dry fabrics continuously in a short period of time while saving heat energy.
