れる変速ケース8内にフライホイール7、このフライホ
イール7に多板式のPTOクラッチ9を介して接続され
るPTO軸10、このPTO軸10の軸心P上に構成さ
れる摩擦式無段変速装置〔continuous va
riable transmission(以下CVT
と略称する)〕12を装備して構成される。CVT12
は、フライホイール7の外径側側面に取付けた支持部材
13に自転自在に支持されたテーパコーン14をPTO
軸10の周囲に複数配備し、PTO軸10に相対回転自
在に外嵌された伝動筒軸11から走行用の無段変速動力
を取り出すべくこの伝動筒軸11に走行プーリ16を取
付け、かつ、テーパコーン14に接触する従動回転体1
5を装備して構成され、テーパコーン14に外接する操
作リング17を軸方向にスライド操作して走行プーリ1
6の回転を無段変速する。PTO軸10の走行プーリ1
6から下方に突出した先端にはモア4駆動用のPTOプ
ーリ(動力取り出し部に相当)23が取付けてある。
尚、18は支持回転体、19は従動回転体15をテーパ
コーン14に圧接させる押圧機構であり、テーパコーン
14と支持部材13との間には、押圧機構19による反
力を受け止める為のスラストカラー22が嵌装してあ
る。このCVT12では、操作リング17の操作によっ
て低速から高速をカバーする前進域、零速となる伝動状
態での中立位置、及び低速の範囲のみにおける後進域が
現出可能であり、その結果、このパワーユニット1は前
後進切換機能をも備えたものに構成してある。また、フ
ライホイール7の外周にはギヤ7aが形成され、モア4
の昇降シリンダ(図示せず)駆動用の油圧ポンプ20を
ギヤ連動駆動している。21は油圧を変速ケース8外に
取り出す油圧ポートである。油圧ポンプ20とフライホ
イール7とをベルト連動しても良く、そのためにフライ
ホイール7の外周に形成したプーリ部や前記ギヤ7aを
総称して駆動部Aと定義する。さらに、PTO軸10は
PTOクラッチ9を省略して出力軸6を延長したもので
も良く、これらPTO軸10や延長された出力軸6を総
