Some of them are buried in the soil, some are on the water,
Some are on the ground and are exposed to the public. In the latter case, depending on the place of use, it is necessary to maintain aesthetics,
For example, in many cases, color coating is applied as disclosed in JP-A-63-183838. Further, recently, as disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 03-51125, a multicolor pattern is applied to try to adapt to the surrounding environment.

After removing the rust with grit blast, sand blast, grinder, belt sander, etc., the adhesive layer 2 has a film thickness of 10
It is formed by spraying, brush coating, spatula coating, or the like to a thickness of at least μm. After that, the adhesive layer 2 is uncured and has a length of 0.5 mm.
The above-mentioned non-metallic fiber flocking material 3 such as nylon fiber, acrylic fiber, or carbon fiber is attached to the adhesive layer 2 almost vertically. The adhesive layer 2 is not particularly limited as long as it exists in a liquid state after being applied. However, it is preferable that the color of the flocked material 3 matches the color of the flocked material 3, and generally the same color or a similar color is preferable. Even if a urethane-based or epoxy-based anticorrosive paint is used to provide anticorrosion, the adhesive layer 2
Shows sufficient adhesiveness. Flocked material 3 has a length of 0.5 mm
There is no particular limitation as long as it is the above non-metallic fiber. In general, it is desirable to use the one that is colored to suit the surrounding environment. As a flocking method of the flocking material 3, an electrostatic flocking method or an air blowing method, or a combination of both types is used in order to adhere the flocking material 3 almost vertically to the adhesive layer 2. When using the electrostatic flocking method, the appropriate conditions may differ slightly depending on the type of flocking material and the type of flocking machine, but the potential difference between the electrodes or the potential difference between the electrostatic flocking machine and the steel material =
5 to 100 kv Distance between electrodes or distance between electrostatic flocking machine and steel material = 20
˜700 mm Potential gradient = 0.1 to 2.0 kv / mm. Also, in the case of the air spraying method, the proper conditions are slightly different depending on the type of the flocking material and the nozzle shape, but within the condition that the air pressure = 0.5 to 4.0 kgf / cm 2 the distance from the nozzle to the steel material = 100 to 700 mm. It should be carried out. In addition, the electrostatic flocking method has a drawback in that it is possible to flock evenly in a flat part, but cannot be flocked uniformly in a bent part or a narrow part of a steel material having a complicated shape. The air blowing method is inferior to the electrostatic flocking method in the flat part in the uniformity of the flocking, but the uniformity is not affected so much even in the bent part and the narrow part, so that both may be used together depending on the shape of the steel material. When the electrostatic flocking method is used, it is desirable that the flocking material 3 be subjected to electrodeposition treatment so that the flocking material 3 is easily charged.

After rust removal with grit blast, spray paint a gray urethane adhesive to a film thickness of 30 μm, and with the urethane adhesive uncured, a 4 mm length of gray nylon fiber is electrostatically implanted. I planted hair. For electrostatic flocking, a commercially available hand-type flocking machine is used, and the potential difference between the electrodes or the potential difference between the electrostatic flocking machine and the steel material =
60 kv Distance between electrodes or distance between electrostatic flocking machine and steel material = 10
Hair was transplanted under the condition of 0 mm potential gradient = 0.60 kv / mm 2. After that, since the flocking density was slightly reduced at the edges of the steel sheet, particularly at the corners, flocking was performed by an air blowing method under the condition of air pressure = 1.5 kgf / cm 2 distance from nozzle to steel material = 300 mm 2 . By the above, a gray-colored flocked steel sheet having a good sense of desteeling was obtained.
