For example, the interior materials for automobiles as described above are constructed by pasting a skin material on the surface of a base material such as a resin board, cardboard, polystyrene foam board, or synthetic resin-impregnated polyurethane foam board. Fiber materials are used as high-grade skin materials of this type. Conventionally, a nonwoven fabric made by needle-punching cotton-like fleece has often been used as the fiber material. When the nonwoven fabric is attached to a substrate, the nonwoven fabric is lined with a hot melt sheet such as a polyethylene sheet or a polyamide nonwoven fabric, and the nonwoven fabric is attached to the substrate via the hot melt sheet.

However, the skin material described above requires a time-consuming process of manufacturing a nonwoven fabric by needle punching cotton-like fleece and then lining the nonwoven fabric with a hot melt sheet. To achieve this, it is necessary to increase the basis weight of the nonwoven fabric, which increases the cost of the material.

g/m 2 , the lower layer cotton-like fleece usually has a basis weight of 50 to 100
g/m 2 , it is desirable to make the basis weight of the upper layer cotton-like fleece as small as possible, to make the basis weight of the lower layer cotton-like fleece as large as possible, and to use the above-mentioned inexpensive fibers for the lower layer cotton-like fleece. Further, the amount of synthetic resin impregnated into the lower layer cotton-like fleece is approximately 15 to 40% by weight as a solid content.

At this time, a base material such as resin board, cardboard, polystyrene foam board, synthetic resin-impregnated polyurethane foam board, etc. is polymerized in advance on the lower layer cotton-like fleece side, and the upper layer cotton-like fleece, the lower layer cotton-like fleece, and You may press-bond with a base material at the same time.

When the upper layer cotton-like fleece and the lower layer cotton-like fleece impregnated with synthetic resin are copolymerized and crimped, the synthetic resin impregnated in the lower layer cotton-like fleece oozes out and is impregnated into the upper layer cotton-like fleece. It does not reach the surface of the cotton-like fleece, and therefore, the synthetic resin gloss does not appear on the surface of the upper layer cotton-like fleece. In this way, the upper layer cotton-like fleece and the lower layer cotton-like fleece are bonded together by the synthetic resin impregnated in the lower layer cotton-like fleece, and the upper layer cotton-like fleece is reinforced and fluffed by impregnating the synthetic resin. will be prevented.
In addition, since the lower layer cotton-like fleece retains its elasticity sufficiently even when it is impregnated with synthetic resin, both the upper layer cotton-like fleece and the lower layer cotton-like fleece are involved in the cushioning properties and volume feeling of the outer layer material, and the upper layer cotton-like fleece and Both the lower layer cotton-like fleece has good elongation and can be made into any deep drawing shape.
Furthermore, if the lower layer cotton-like fleece is impregnated with a thermoplastic synthetic resin, or if the thermosetting synthetic resin is uncured or semi-cured even after being crimped with the upper layer cotton-like fleece, or if the upper layer cotton In the case where the fiber-like fleece, the lower cotton-like fleece, and the base material are crimped at the same time, no adhesive is required for bonding them to the base material.

As described above, the present invention can provide a skin material that can be obtained through a simple process and has cushioning properties and a sense of volume using inexpensive materials. In addition, the skin material of the present invention has good elongation, easily adapts to deep drawing shapes, and does not cause wrinkles or cracks.

An embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIGS. 1-3. In FIG. 1, a synthetic resin impregnating tank 1 is filled with a 50% by weight melamine resin aqueous solution 2, and a lower layer cotton-like fleece 3 made of non-standard polyester fiber with a basis weight of 70 g/m 2 is in the impregnating tank 1. The melamine resin aqueous solution 2 is then impregnated. The lower layer cotton-like fleece 3 impregnated with the melamine resin aqueous solution 2 is adjusted to have an impregnated amount of 25% by weight by a squeezing roll 5, then dried in a drying chamber 6, and then dried in a pressure roll 7 heated to 150°C. It is crimped with an upper layer cotton-like fleece 4 made of standard polyester fiber having a basis weight of 150 g/m 2 , and is cut into a predetermined size by a cutting machine 8 .
