Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the interference between magnetic signals of a surface layer and a deep layer to reduce the degradation of the lapse of time by providing two kinds of required magnetic layer and prescribing the magnetization directions. CONSTITUTION:A two-layered magnetic layer of a coating layer 2 as the deep layer and a vapor-deposited layer 1 as the surface layer are formed on a base 3, and magnetization directions of respective layers are orthogonal to each other. This constitution eliminates the interference between magnetic signals of surface and deep layers to obtain a magnetic tape whose degradation of the lapse of time is reduced.

従来の磁気テープは、深層記録方式により複数の信号を
記録した場合、表層の信号(磁気)と深層の信号(磁気
)が干渉、転写してしまう為、経時劣化が太きいという
欠点がある。

層を有している。この様にすることにより、表層と深層
で磁化の方向が垂直になり、表層の信号(磁気)と深層
の信号(磁気)の間の干渉をなくす事が出来る。
