日光を受けるとその高い温度上昇によつて大きく
熱膨張する。その熱膨張によつて生じる伸びは電
照板の変形やひび割れ、取付部での雨水の侵入を
引き起こす。そこで電照板には熱膨張による伸び
に対処し得るような取付け構造が要求される。

の扉外形に沿つて装備された透明アクリル樹脂製
の電照板である。なお4は商品選択用押ボタン、
5は商品取出口である。ここで、第5図のように
電照板3は前記した前面扉2の外形に合わせてそ
の左右両端が湾曲した横断面コ字形に作られてい
る。その取付け構造は、第7図ないし第9図で説
明した平坦状の電照板の場合と同様、開口窓に装
備の電照板の取付枠6に対して電照板3の周縁と
の間にパツキン7を介装して雨水の侵入を防止す
るように取付け支持されている。

パツキン7の底面との間に熱膨張による伸び分を
逃がす間隙dを残して支持したとしても、電照板
3に生じる板面の左右方向(第6図の矢印H方
向)の熱膨張伸び分と前記した間隙dとの向きが
異なるために熱膨張による電照板3の伸び分を前
記した間隙dで吸収させることが困難である。そ
して電照板3の両側端は取付枠6によつて左右方
向への自由な動きが拘束されているので、結果と
して電照板3に左右方向で板面が波を打つような
変形が生じ、かつこの変形の度合が大きい場合に
はその応力により電照板3にひび割れが生じてし
まう事態が発生する。またひび割れが発生しない
までもこのように電照板3に波状の変形が生じる
と、電照板3と取付枠6との間にパツキン7では
吸収できない微小な隙間が生じその機能が喪失し
て外部より雨水、塵埃等が電照室内に侵入するよ
うになる。

の間に電照板の熱膨張による上下方向の伸び分を
逃がす残余間隙を形成するとともに、前記開口窓
の周縁に前記前面扉の内方に向けてバーリング部
を形成し、かつ該バーリング部には端面が電照板
の表面に密着して電照板と前記開口窓の周縁との
間の隙間を閉塞する弾性変形可能なガスケツトを
装着するようにしたものである。

2bには端面が電照板3の表面に密着して電照板
3と開口窓2aの周縁との間の隙間を閉塞する弾
性変形可能なガスケツト8を装着したので、電照
板3の上下方向の熱膨張伸び分については前記し
た電照板3の上下方向の端縁と取付枠6との間の
残余間隙によつて吸収し、これに対し左右方向の
膨張伸び分については前記ガスケツト8の圧縮変
形で吸収しつつ、しかも該ガスケツト8と電照板
3の板面との密着により確実な防水性が維持でき
るようになる。

し、高さ寸法が5mm程度のバーリング部2bを成
形するとともに、このバーリング部2bには開口
窓2aの周縁に沿つて帯状のガスケツト8が装着
されている。このガスケツト8はゴム等の弾性材
質で作られたものであり、かつその長手方向に中
空溝8aが形成されている。一方、電照板3は扉
2の内面側より表面が前記のガスケツト8の端面
へ密着して当接しつつ、その周縁部で扉側に装備
の取付枠6へねじ締結された抑え金9を介して背
後から押圧支持されている。一方、第2図の縱断
面図で明示したように電照板3の上端縁とこれに
対向する取付枠6との間には熱膨張による電照板
3の上下方向(矢印V方向)の伸び分を逃がす残
余間隙dが成形されている。

V方向)の伸びに対しては電照板3の上縁と取付
枠7との間の残余間隙dによつてこの伸び分が吸
収される。一方、同時に生じる左右方向(第1図
の矢印H方向)の伸びに対しては第3図に示すよ
うに電照板3の左右両端部が矢印H方向に動いて
ガスケツト8の中空溝8aを押し潰す形で吸収さ
れるようになる。したがつて電照板自身には第6
図に示したような波打ち変形の発生するおそれは
なく、しかも電照板3の板面にガスケツト8が密
着保持されているので防水性が確実に維持される
ことになる。

高い防水性を保持しつつ電照板の熱膨張に伴う伸
び分を吸収して電照板に不当な変形が発生するの
を確実に防止することができる。
