可能に軸支されて各変速段用ギヤ列を配設した各
回転シヤフトと並列し操作レバーの操作により軸
方向の後退段側へ選択的に摺動するフオークシヤ
フトと、同フオークシヤフト上に一体的に組付け
られ同フオークシヤフトの摺動方向に応じて後退
段用の同期装置を選択的に作動させるシフトフオ
ークと、前記フオークシヤフト上にて前記シフト
フオークにおける軸方向の後退段側に組付けられ
てリバースシフトアームに連結し中立位置から後
退段側への移動により同シフトアームに係合する
後退段用の摺動ギヤを摺動させて後退段用の他の
ギヤに噛合させるリバースシフトヘツドを備えた
手動変速機の変速操作装置であり、前記リバース
シフトヘツドを前記フオークシヤフト上に軸方向
へ摺動可能に組付けるとともに同リバースシフト
ヘツドをケーシング側部材との間に設けたデイテ
ント機構にて中立位置に位置決めして前記シフト
フオークとは軸方向に所定の間隔を保持し、かつ
前記リバースシフトヘツドを前記フオークシヤフ
トとケーシング側部材間に設けたインタロツク機
構にて前記フオークシヤフトおよびケーシング側
部材に選択的に固定させるとともに、前記インタ
ロツク機構に中立時前記フオークシヤフトの前記
リバースシフトヘツドに対する軸方向の後退段側
への所定量の相対摺動を許容する許容手段を設け
