The two-dimensional code 22 includes information such as the date the voting ticket 21 was issued, the voting content, the voting amount, and other voting information, as well as the terminal logical number that identifies the totalizator terminal 10 that issued the ticket, and the number of the electronic journal when the voting ticket 21 was issued.

Figure 4 is a diagram showing an example of a receipt 23 issued by the totalizator terminal 10. The receipt 23 is printed and issued by the ticket issuing unit 16 of the totalizator terminal 10. On the receipt 23, information such as the date the receipt 23 was issued, the voting details cast, the voting amount, and a two-dimensional code 24 of the voting information is printed. If the simultaneous transmission unit 114 determines that the terminal that printed the two-dimensional code is not its own terminal, it broadcasts the terminal logical number and electronic journal number contained in the two-dimensional code read by the reading unit 112 to the other totalizator terminals 10-2 to 10-n.

When the journal output unit 115 determines that the broadcasted terminal logical number is its own terminal, it outputs an electronic journal corresponding to the electronic journal number included in the two-dimensional code. The journal output unit 115 displays and outputs the electronic journal corresponding to the electronic journal number on the display unit 13. The journal output process is executed by the control unit 11 of the totalizator terminal 10. First, the control unit 11 of the totalizator terminal 10-1 reads the two-dimensional code from the voting ticket 21 or receipt 23 (step S11). The control unit 11 determines whether the terminal logical number included in the two-dimensional code matches the terminal logical number of its own terminal (totalizator terminal 10-1) (step S12).

The control unit 11 of the totalizator terminal 10-1 displays and outputs the electronic journal searched for in step S13 on the display unit 13 (step S14). The operator of the totalizator terminal 10 can easily and reliably respond to fan problems while looking at the electronic journal displayed on the display unit 13. This makes it easier to search for the electronic journals of voting media, and can speed up maintenance responses.

Returning to step S12, if the terminal logical number included in the two-dimensional code does not match the terminal logical number of the own terminal (step S12: NO), a message containing the terminal logical number and electronic journal number is broadcast to the other totalizator terminals 10-2 to 10-n (step S15).

The control unit 11 of the totalizator terminals 10-2 to 10-n determines whether the terminal logical number included in the message received by broadcast matches the terminal logical number of the terminal itself (each totalizator terminal 10-2 to 10-n) (step S16). If the terminal logical number included in the message received by broadcast does not match the terminal logical number of the terminal itself (step S16: NO), the control unit 11 of the totalizator terminals 10-2 to 10-n discards the received message (step S17). When this process is completed, the journal output process is also completed.

If the terminal logical number included in the message received by broadcast matches the terminal logical number of the own terminal (step S16: YES), the control unit 11 of the totalizator terminals 10-2 to 10-n searches the journal memory unit 121 for the electronic journal of the relevant customer service section using the electronic journal number included in the message received by broadcast as a key (step S18).

The control unit 11 of the totalizator terminals 10-2 to 10-n transmits the search results found in step S18 to the totalizator terminal 10 that sent the search (step S19).
