Description
図1は、この発明の実施の形態にかかるタイヤ1を示すタイヤ子午線方向の断面図である。同図は、タイヤ径方向の片側領域の断面図を示している。また、同図は、タイヤの一例として、トラック・バス用の重荷重用タイヤを示している。
図2は、図1に記載したタイヤ1のトレッド面を示す平面図である。同図において、タイヤ周方向とは、タイヤ回転軸周りの方向をいう。また、符号Tがトレッド端であり、寸法記号TWがタイヤ接地幅である。図2の構成では、タイヤ1がスクエア形状のショルダー部を有し、トレッド端Tがタイヤ接地端に一致する。
図3は、図2に記載したタイヤ1のセンター陸部32を示す平面図である。図4および図5は、図3に記載した第一周方向細溝321を示す拡大図(図4)およびA視断面図(図5)である。図6は、図3に記載した第二周方向細溝322を示すB視断面図である。図7は、図3に記載したセンターラグ溝323A(323B)を示すC視断面図である。図8は、図3に記載したセンター補助溝324A(324B)を示すD視断面図である。
図2において、一対のショルダー陸部31、31のそれぞれが、複数のショルダーラグ溝311を備える。また、ショルダーラグ溝311が、ショルダー陸部31をタイヤ幅方向に貫通して、周方向主溝2A、2Bおよびタイヤ接地端Tに開口する。また、一方のショルダー陸部31のショルダーラグ溝311が第一センターラグ溝323Aの延長線上に配置され、他方のショルダー陸部31のショルダーラグ溝311が第二センターラグ溝323Bの延長線上に配置される。また、1つのショルダー陸部31のショルダーラグ溝311のピッチ数が、第一センターラグ溝323Aあるいは第二センターラグ溝323Bのピッチ数に等しい。
以上説明したように、このタイヤ1は、タイヤ周方向に延在する第一および第二の周方向主溝2A、2Bと、第一および第二の周方向主溝2A、2Bに区画された一対のショルダー陸部31、31および単一のセンター陸部32と、を備える(図2参照)。また、センター陸部32の接地幅Wceが、タイヤ接地幅TWに対して0.55≦Wce/TW≦0.70の範囲にある。また、センター陸部32が、一方の端部にて第一周方向主溝2Aに開口すると共にタイヤ幅方向に延在してタイヤ赤道面CLに交差する複数の第一センターラグ溝323Aと、一方の端部にて第二周方向主溝2Bに開口すると共にタイヤ幅方向に延在してタイヤ赤道面CLに交差する複数の第二センターラグ溝323Bと、を備える(図3参照)。また、第一および第二のセンターラグ溝323A、323Bが、タイヤ赤道面CLから一方の端部までの領域でS字形状を有する。また、S字形状が、タイヤ赤道面CLにてタイヤ回転方向に凸となると共に一方の端部にてタイヤ反転方向に凸となる。
また、このタイヤ1は、車両のドライブ軸に装着される重荷重用タイヤである。かかるタイヤを適用対象とすることにより、タイヤの低転がり抵抗性能およびウェット性能の向上作用が効果的に得られる利点がある。
Claims (11)
- タイヤ周方向に延在する第一および第二の周方向主溝と、前記第一および第二の周方向主溝に区画された一対のショルダー陸部および単一のセンター陸部と、を備えるタイヤであって、
前記センター陸部の接地幅Wceが、タイヤ接地幅TWに対して0.55≦Wce/TW≦0.70の範囲にあり、
前記センター陸部が、一方の端部にて前記第一周方向主溝に開口すると共にタイヤ幅方向に延在してタイヤ赤道面に交差する複数の第一センターラグ溝と、一方の端部にて前記第二周方向主溝に開口すると共にタイヤ幅方向に延在してタイヤ赤道面に交差する複数の第二センターラグ溝と、を備え、
前記第一および第二のセンターラグ溝が、タイヤ赤道面から前記一方の端部までの領域でS字形状を有し、
前記S字形状が、タイヤ赤道面にてタイヤ回転方向に凸となると共に前記一方の端部にてタイヤ反転方向に凸となり、且つ、
隣り合う前記第一および第二のセンターラグ溝が、タイヤ周方向で相互にオーバーラップしないことを特徴とするタイヤ。 - 前記一方の端部における前記S字形状の曲率半径Rs2が、タイヤ赤道面における前記S字形状の曲率半径Rs1に対して1.00≦Rs2/Rs1≦3.50の関係を有する請求項1に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記第一および第二のセンターラグ溝の溝幅W3が、前記周方向主溝の溝幅Wmに対して0.10≦W3/Wm≦0.55の範囲にある請求項1または2に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記第一および第二のセンターラグ溝の溝深さH3が、前記周方向主溝の溝深さHmに対して0.10≦H3/Hm≦0.30の範囲にある請求項1~3のいずれか一つに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記第一および第二のセンターラグ溝が、他方の端部にて前記センター陸部内で終端し、且つ、前記第一および第二のセンターラグ溝のタイヤ幅方向の延在長さD3が、前記センター陸部の接地幅Wceに対して0.55≦D3/Wce≦0.75の範囲にある請求項1~4のいずれか一つに記載のタイヤ。
- タイヤ周方向における前記第一および第二のセンターラグ溝の延在長さL3が、前記センター陸部の接地幅Wceに対して0.10≦L3/Wce≦0.30の範囲にある請求項1~5のいずれか一つに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記センター陸部が、タイヤ周方向に延在する複数の周方向細溝を備え、且つ、前記周方向細溝の溝幅が、前記周方向主溝の溝幅に対して10[%]以上40[%]以下の範囲にある請求項1~6のいずれか一つに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記複数の周方向細溝が、タイヤ幅方向に振幅をもつジグザグ形状あるいは波状形状を有すると共にタイヤ赤道面に最も近い位置に配置される第一周方向細溝と、ストレート形状を有すると共に前記第一周方向細溝および前記周方向主溝の間に配置される第二周方向細溝とを含む請求項7に記載のタイヤ。
