Description
図1は、本実施形態1に係る制御装置(後述のボディ系ECU30)により制御される一対のヘッドライト20を有する車両1を示す。車両1は四輪の自動車であり、不図示の駆動装置により、4つの車輪2のうち左右対称状に位置する2輪(ここでは前輪)を駆動する。これにより、車両1は移動(走行)する。以下の説明では、車両1の前、後、左、右、上及び下を、それぞれ単に前、後、左、右、上及び下という。
以下、実施形態2について、図面を参照しながら詳細に説明する。尚、以下の説明において前記実施形態1と共通の部分については、同じ符号を付して、その詳細な説明を省略する。

Claims (4)
- 車両前方を照射するヘッドライトを制御するヘッドライト制御装置であって、
車両前方の道路状況の視認性を検出する視認性検出部と、
前記ヘッドライトの輝度を制御するヘッドライト制御部と、を備え、
前記ヘッドライト制御部は、前記ヘッドライトが照射する光において、車両遠方側の部分の輝度と車両近傍側の部分の輝度との差である輝度勾配を調整可能であり、
さらに前記ヘッドライト制御部は、前記視認性検出部により視認性の悪化が検出されたときには、視認性の悪化が検出されないときと比較して、車両遠方側の部分の輝度に対して車両近傍側の部分の輝度を高くすることで、前記輝度勾配を大きくする輝度調整制御を実行し、
前記車両が交差点を走行していることを検出可能な走行シーン検出部を更に備え、
前記ヘッドライト制御部は、前記走行シーン検出部により前記車両が交差点を右折又は左折することが検出されたときには、前記視認性検出部により視認性の悪化が検出されたとしても、前記輝度調整制御を実行しないことを特徴とするヘッドライト制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載のヘッドライト制御装置において、
前記ヘッドライト制御部は、前記輝度調整制御において、車両遠方側の部分の輝度を維持したまま、車両近傍側の部分の輝度を高くすることで、前記輝度勾配を大きくすることを特徴とするヘッドライト制御装置。 - 車両前方を照射するヘッドライトを制御するヘッドライト制御装置であって、
車両前方の道路状況の視認性を検出する視認性検出部と、
前記ヘッドライトの輝度を制御するヘッドライト制御部と、を備え、
前記ヘッドライト制御部は、前記ヘッドライトが照射する光において、車両遠方側の部分の輝度と車両近傍側の部分の輝度との差である輝度勾配を調整可能であり、
さらに前記ヘッドライト制御部は、前記視認性検出部により視認性の悪化が検出されたときには、視認性の悪化が検出されないときと比較して、車両遠方側の部分の輝度に対して車両近傍側の部分の輝度を高くすることで、前記輝度勾配を大きくする輝度調整制御を実行し、
前記車両の周囲の光である環境光の光量を検出可能な環境光検出部を更に備え、
前記ヘッドライト制御部は、前記環境光検出部により所定量以上の環境光が検出されたときには、前記視認性検出部により視認性の悪化が検出されたとしても、前記輝度調整制御を実行しないことを特徴とするヘッドライト制御装置。 - 請求項1~3のいずれか1つに記載のヘッドライト制御装置において、
前記ヘッドライトは複数個のLED光源を有し、
前記ヘッドライト制御部は、前記輝度調整制御において、前記複数個のLED光源の輝度をそれぞれ調整することにより、前記輝度勾配を大きくすることを特徴とするヘッドライト制御装置。
