Claims (16)
- 骨接触面及び反対側の内表面と、第1の側面及び第2の側面とを有する、第1のエンドプレートと、

前記第1のエンドプレートの前記第1の側面は、前記第2のエンドプレートの前記第1の側面に蝶番式に連結され、
前記拡張機構は、第1のネジ山付きシャンクと第2のネジ山付きシャンクを含む駆動ネジと、前記第1のネジ山付きシャンクの少なくとも一部と係合するように構成される第1のネジ山付きナットと、前記第2のネジ山付きシャンクの少なくとも一部と係合するように構成される第2のネジ山付きナットと、前記第1のネジ山付きシャンクと前記第2のネジ山付きシャンクとを連結するように構成されるスプラインと、前記第1のネジ山付きナットに連結される第1のリンク機構と、前記第2のネジ山付きナットに連結される第2のリンク機構とを含み、前記第1及び第2のリンク機構は、前記第1及び第2のネジ山付きナットから前記第2のエンドプレートの前記内表面に延びる、
拡張可能なインプラントデバイス。 - 前記拡張機構は、前記第1及び第2のエンドプレートの前記第2の側面に隣接して配置され、前記第1及び第2のエンドプレートの前記第2の側面は、前記第1の側面の反対側にある、請求項1に記載の拡張可能なインプラントデバイス。
- 前記第1のエンドプレート又は前記第2のエンドプレートの少なくとも一方は、前記第1のエンドプレート又は前記第2のエンドプレートの少なくとも一方の前記骨接触面に対して垂直に延びる平面的な延長部を含む、請求項1に記載の拡張可能なインプラントデバイス。
- 前記平面的な延長部は、当該拡張可能なインプラントデバイスの内部容積を囲むように構成される、請求項3に記載の拡張可能なインプラントデバイス。
- 前記第1のエンドプレート又は前記第2のエンドプレートの少なくとも一方は、前記第1のエンドプレート又は前記第2のエンドプレートの少なくとも一方の前記骨接触面から当該拡張可能なインプラントデバイスの前記内部容積内に延在する少なくとも1つの融合孔を更に含む、請求項4に記載の拡張可能なインプラントデバイス。
- 係止機構を更に含み、
該係止機構は、前記駆動ネジの望ましくない回転を防止するように構成される、
請求項1に記載の拡張可能なインプラントデバイス。 - 前記係止機構は、前記スプラインと係合するように構成されるバネを更に含む、請求項6に記載の拡張可能なインプラントデバイス。
- 前記第1のエンドプレートは、前端と、後端とを有し、該後端は、前記インプラントデバイスの内部容積と連通する孔を含む、請求項1に記載の拡張可能なインプラントデバイス。
- 前記第1のエンドプレートの前記前端は、前記インプラントデバイスの内部容積と連通する孔を含む、請求項8に記載の拡張可能なインプラントデバイス。
- 前記駆動ネジは、前記第1のエンドプレートの前端から前記第1のエンドプレートの後端まで当該拡張可能なインプラントデバイスの全長に亘って延在する、請求項1に記載の拡張可能なインプラントデバイス。
- 前記第1のネジ山付きシャンクは、右手ネジ山パターンを有し、前記第2のネジ山付きシャンクは、左手ネジ山付きパターンを有する、請求項1に記載の拡張可能なインプラントデバイス。
- 前記駆動ネジは、前記第1のエンドプレートの前記前端又は前記後端で作動させられるように構成される、請求項10に記載の拡張可能なインプラントデバイス。
- 前記孔は、ネジ山付き孔であり、該ネジ山付き孔は、当該拡張可能なインプラントデバイスの近位側面に配置され、前記ネジ山付き孔は、ネジの少なくとも一部分を受け入れて、当該拡張可能なインプラントデバイスにプレートを固定するように構成される、請求項8に記載の拡張可能なインプラントデバイス。
- 前記プレートは、骨ネジを受け入れるような寸法とされる固定プレートである、請求項13に記載の拡張可能なインプラントデバイス。
- 前記第1のエンドプレートの前記後端は、複数の位置のうちの1つにおいて前記固定プレートを受けるように構成される、請求項14に記載の拡張可能なインプラントデバイス。
