Description
元素周期表へのいかなる参照も、CRC Press,Inc.によって1990~1991に発行されたときのものである。この表の元素の族についての言及は、族に番号を付けるための新たな表記法によるものである。
酸価(acid value)(または酸価(acid number))は、ASTM D1386/7に従って測定する。酸価は、物質中に存在する未反応脂肪酸の量の尺度である。酸価とは、物質(例えば、ワックス)1グラム中に存在する遊離脂肪酸の中和に必要な水酸化カリウムのミリグラム数である。酸価の単位は、mg KOH/gである。
示差走査熱量測定(DSC)を使用して、広範囲にわたる温度のポリマーの溶融、結晶化、およびガラス転移挙動を測定することができる。例えば、RCS(冷蔵冷却システム)およびオートサンプラーを備えるTA Instruments Q1000 DSCを使用して、この分析を実施する。試験中、50ml/分の窒素パージガス流量が使用された。各試料が約190℃で薄フィルムに溶融圧縮され、その後、溶融試料が室温(25℃)に空冷される。3~10mg、直径6mmの試験片が冷却されたポリマーから抽出され、秤量され、軽量アルミニウムパン(50mg)内に置かれ、圧着閉鎖される。次いで、その熱的特性を決定するために分析を行う。
剥離接着破壊温度(PAFT)は、剥離モードで、Cheminstruments OSI-8プログラム可能オーブンを使用して、100グラムの重量でASTM D4498に従って試験する。試験は40℃で開始し、温度は0.5℃/分の平均速度で上昇する。
重量平均分子量(Mw)および数平均分子量(Mn)は、ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィー(GPC)システムを使用して測定される。
本組成物は、エチレン/α-オレフィンコポリマーを含有する。エチレン/α-オレフィンコポリマーは、0.855g/cc~0.895g/ccの密度、177℃で5,000mPa・s~50,000mPa・sの溶融粘度を有する。
本組成物は、官能化プロピレン系ポリマーを含有する。官能化プロピレン系ポリマーは、1重量%~10重量%の官能基を含有する。官能化プロピレン系ポリマーは、190℃で10,000mPa・s超~50,000mPa・sの溶融粘度および30,000g/mol超の重量平均分子量、Mwを有する。
この組成物は、粘着付与剤を含む。粘着付与剤は、粘弾性特性(例えば、タンデルタ)、レオロジー特性(例えば、粘度)、粘着性(例えば、粘着能力)、感圧性、および湿潤特性のような組成物の特性を変性し得る。いくつかの実施形態において、粘着付与剤は、組成物の粘着性を改善するために使用される。特定の実施形態では、粘着付与剤は、接着性表面を湿潤させるために、および/または接着性表面への接着を改善するために使用される。
この組成物は、ワックスを含む。ワックスは、組成物の溶融粘度を低下させ、組成物のオープンタイムおよびセットタイムを調整するために使用されてよい。好適なワックスの非限定的な例としては、エチレン系ポリマーワックス、プロピレン系ポリマーワックス、パラフィンワックス、微結晶ワックス、副生成ポリエチレンワックス、フィッシャー・トロプシュワックス、酸化フィッシャー・トロプシュワックス、官能化ワックス、例えばヒドロキシステアラミドワックスおよび脂肪酸アミドワックス、ならびにそれらの組み合わせが挙げられる。
一実施形態では、ワックスは、エチレン系ポリマーワックスである。
一実施形態では、ワックスは、プロピレン系ポリマーワックスである。
一実施形態では、本組成物は、(A)エチレン/α-オレフィンコポリマーと、(B)官能化プロピレン系ポリマーと、(C)粘着付与剤と、(D)ワックスと、(E)任意選択の添加剤と、を含有する。
本組成物は、(A)エチレン/α-オレフィンコポリマーと、(B)官能化プロピレン系ポリマーと、(C)粘着付与剤と、(D)ワックスと、を含有する。一実施形態では、本組成物は、(E)任意選択の添加剤を含有する。
(A)(i)0.855g/cc~0.895g/cc、もしくは0.870g/cc~0.875g/ccの密度、および(ii)177℃で5,000mPa・s~50,000mPa・s、もしくは15,000mPa・s~20,000mPa・sの溶融粘度、および(iii)任意選択で、-60℃~-20℃、もしくは-58℃~-55℃のTg、および/または(iv)任意選択で、40℃~120℃、もしくは70℃~75℃のTm、および/または(v)任意選択で、50℃~90℃、もしくは50℃~75℃のTcを有する20重量%~50重量%、または25重量%~40重量%、または30重量%~35重量%のエチレン/α-オレフィンコポリマー(エチレン/オクテンコポリマーなど)と、
(B)(i)プロピレンと、(ii)C2またはC4-C8α-オレフィンコモノマーと、(iii)MAH-g-プロピレン/α-オレフィンコポリマーの総重量に基づいて、1重量%~10重量%、または1重量%~2重量%のMAHと、を含有するか、これらから本質的になるか、またはこれらからなるMAH-g-プロピレン/α-オレフィンコポリマーである1重量%~15重量%、または5重量%~15重量%、または5重量%~10重量%の官能化プロピレン系ポリマーであって、MAH-g-プロピレン/α-オレフィンコポリマーが、(i)190℃で10,000mPa・s超~50,000mPa・s、もしくは15,000mPa・s~20,000mPa・sの溶融粘度、および(ii)30,000g/mol超、もしくは31,000g/mol~70,000g/mol、もしくは35,000g/mol~40,000g/molの重量平均分子量、Mw、および(iii)任意選択で、10,000g/mol~30,000g/mol、もしくは14,000g/mol~15,000g/molのMn、および/または(iv)任意選択で、2.0~3.0、もしくは2.4~2.6のMw/Mn、および/または(v)任意選択で、50,000g/mol~80,000g/mol、もしくは60,000g/mol~65,000g/molのMz、および/または(vi)任意選択で、100g/10分~1000g/10分、もしくは200g/10分~500g/10分のMI、および/または(vii)任意選択で、0.890g/cc~0.915g/cc、もしくは0.900g/cc~0.905g/ccの密度、および/または(viii)任意選択で、120℃~160℃、もしくは135℃~140℃のTm、および/または(ix)任意選択で、100℃~130℃、もしくは110℃~115℃のビカー軟化点を有する、官能化プロピレン系ポリマーと、
(C)20重量%~60重量%、または20重量%~50重量%、または35重量%~40重量%の粘着付与剤(95℃~150℃、または100℃~105℃の環球式軟化点を有する水素化炭化水素樹脂など)と、
(D)1重量%~40重量%、または15重量%~30重量%、または20重量%~25重量%のワックス(エチレン系ワックスなど)と、
(E)0重量%~3重量%、または0.1重量%~1.0重量%の1つ以上の任意選択の添加剤(酸化防止剤など)と、を含有するか、これらから本質的になるか、またはこれらからなり、
本組成物は、以下の特性のうちの1つ、いくつか、またはすべてを有する:(i)177℃で500mPa・s~2000mPa・s、もしくは1000mPa・s~1550mPa・sの溶融粘度、および/または(ii)60℃以上、もしくは60℃超の熱応力、および/または(iii)60℃~90℃、もしくは63℃~85℃のPAFT、および/または(iv)90℃~100℃、もしくは92℃~100℃のSAFT、および/または(v)-20℃~60℃の温度範囲で80%~100%、もしくは90%~100%、もしくは92%~100%の繊維引裂。
本開示は、物品を提供する。物品は、本組成物から形成される少なくとも1つの構成成分を含む。
以下に、本願の当初の特許請求の範囲に記載された発明を付記する。
[1] 組成物であって、
(A)エチレン/α-オレフィンコポリマーであって、
0.855g/cc~0.895g/ccの密度、
177℃で5,000mPa・s~50,000mPa・sの溶融粘度を有する、エチレン/α-オレフィンコポリマーと、
(B)1重量%~10重量%の官能基を含む官能化プロピレン系ポリマーであって、
190℃で10,000mPa・s超~50,000mPa・sの溶融粘度、
30,000g/mol超の重量平均分子量、Mwを有する、官能化プロピレン系ポリマーと、
(C)粘着付与剤と、
(D)ワックスと、を含む、組成物。
[2] 前記エチレン/α-オレフィンコポリマーが、(i)エチレンと、(ii)C 4 -C 8 α-オレフィンコモノマーと、を含む、[1]に記載の組成物。
[3] 前記官能化プロピレン系ポリマーが、無水マレイン酸グラフト化プロピレン系ポリマーである、[1]または[2]に記載の組成物。
[4] 前記官能化プロピレン系ポリマーが、2.0~3.0のMw/Mnを有する、[1]~[3]のいずれかに記載の組成物。
[5] 前記官能化プロピレン系ポリマーが、100g/10分~1000g/10分のメルトインデックスを有する、[1]~[4]のいずれかに記載の組成物。
[6] 前記官能化プロピレン系ポリマーが、無水マレイン酸グラフト化プロピレン/α-オレフィンコポリマーである、[1]~[5]のいずれかに記載の組成物。
[7] 前記粘着付与剤が、水素化炭化水素樹脂である、[1]~[6]のいずれかに記載の組成物。
[8] 前記ワックスが、エチレン系ワックスである、[1]~[7]のいずれかに記載の組成物。
[9] (A)20%~50重量%のエチレン/α-オレフィンコポリマーと、
(B)1~15重量%の無水マレイン酸グラフト化プロピレン系ポリマーと、
(C)20重量%~60重量%の粘着付与剤と、
(D)10重量%~40重量%のワックスと、を含む、[1]~[8]のいずれかに記載の組成物。
[10] 前記組成物が、177℃で500mPa・s~2,000mPa・sの溶融粘度を有する、[1]~[9]のいずれかに記載の組成物。
[11] 前記組成物が、-20℃~60℃の温度範囲で80%超の繊維引裂を有する、[1]~[10]のいずれかに記載の組成物。
[12] 前記組成物が、60℃以上の熱応力を有する、[1]~[11]のいずれかに記載の組成物。
[13] [1]~[12]のいずれかに記載の組成物から形成された少なくとも1つの成分を含む、物品。
[14] 前記組成物を含む接着剤層と接触している基材を備える、[13]に記載の物品。
[15] 前記基材が、二軸配向ポリプロピレン層(BOPP層)を備え、前記BOPP層が、前記接着剤層と直接接触している、[14]に記載の物品。
Claims (15)
- ホットメルト接着剤組成物であって、
(A)エチレン/α-オレフィンコポリマーであって、
0.855g/cc~0.895g/ccの密度、
177℃で5,000mPa・s~50,000mPa・sの溶融粘度を有する、エチレン/α-オレフィンコポリマーと、
(B)1重量%~10重量%の官能基を含む官能化プロピレン系ポリマーであって、
190℃で10,000mPa・s超~50,000mPa・sの溶融粘度、
30,000g/mol超の重量平均分子量、Mwを有する、官能化プロピレン系ポリマーと、
(C)粘着付与剤と、
(D)ワックスと、を含む、ホットメルト接着剤組成物。 - 前記エチレン/α-オレフィンコポリマーが、(i)エチレンと、(ii)C4-C8α-オレフィンコモノマーと、を含む、請求項1に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
- 前記官能化プロピレン系ポリマーが、無水マレイン酸グラフト化プロピレン系ポリマーである、請求項1または2に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
- 前記官能化プロピレン系ポリマーが、2.0~3.0のMw/Mnを有する、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
- 前記官能化プロピレン系ポリマーが、100g/10分~1000g/10分のメルトインデックスを有する、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
- 前記官能化プロピレン系ポリマーが、無水マレイン酸グラフト化プロピレン/α-オレフィンコポリマーである、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
- 前記粘着付与剤が、水素化炭化水素樹脂である、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
- 前記ワックスが、エチレン系ワックスである、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
- (A)20%~50重量%のエチレン/α-オレフィンコポリマーと、
(B)1~15重量%の無水マレイン酸グラフト化プロピレン系ポリマーと、
(C)20重量%~60重量%の粘着付与剤と、
(D)10重量%~40重量%のワックスと、を含む、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。 - 前記ホットメルト接着剤組成物が、177℃で500mPa・s~2,000mPa・sの溶融粘度を有する、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
- 前記ホットメルト接着剤組成物が、-20℃~60℃の温度範囲で80%超の繊維引裂を有する、請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
- 前記ホットメルト接着剤組成物が、60℃以上の熱応力を有する、請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
- 請求項1~12のいずれか一項に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物から形成された少なくとも1つの成分を含む、物品。
- 前記ホットメルト接着剤組成物を含む接着剤層と接触している基材を備える、請求項13に記載の物品。
- 前記基材が、二軸配向ポリプロピレン層(BOPP層)を備え、前記BOPP層が、前記接着剤層と直接接触している、請求項14に記載の物品。
