Description
図1は、本発明の一実施形態を示すタイヤ1のトレッド部2の部分斜視図である。図2は、図1のトレッド部2の展開平面図である。本実施形態では、好ましい態様として、乗用車用の空気入りタイヤが示される。但し、本発明は、例えば、自動二輪車用、重荷重用の空気入りタイヤや、非空気式タイヤ等の他のカテゴリーのタイヤ1にも適用しうる。
陸部:4本(全ての陸部に縦孔が形成されている)
縦孔のピッチP:30mm
開口部の面積比S2/S1:120%
横孔の最大長さWc:4mm
各試供タイヤが、下記の条件で、排気量3700ccの乗用車の全輪に装着された。テストドライバーは、上記車両を氷路面及びウェットアスファルト路面のテストコースを走行させた。このときの各試供タイヤのハンドル安定性、グリップ力、ハンドル操作性等に関する走行特性がテストドライバーの官能により評価された。結果は、比較例1を100とする評点で表示されている。数値が大きいほど良好である。

Claims (5)
- トレッド部を有するタイヤであって、
前記トレッド部は、踏面と壁面とを有する陸部が設けられ、
前記陸部には、
一端が前記踏面で開口しかつ他端がタイヤ半径方向内方に延びる縦孔と、
一端が前記壁面で開口して前記陸部の内部を延びるとともに他端が前記縦孔に連通する横孔と、
前記踏面で開口しかつ前記縦孔及び前記横孔に連通するサイプとを含み、
前記縦孔の前記一端のタイヤ軸方向の開口幅は、前記陸部の前記踏面でのタイヤ軸方向の幅の5%~20%であり、
前記縦孔は、その横断面が前記横孔の長手方向を長径とする楕円状で形成され、
前記横孔は、その横断面が前記縦孔の長手方向を長径とする楕円状で形成され、
前記横孔の横断面の最大長さが3~8mmである、
タイヤ。 - 前記横孔は、タイヤ軸方向に対して45度以下の角度で傾斜している、請求項1記載のタイヤ。
- 前記横孔は、第1横孔と、前記第1横孔と交差する向きに延びる第2横孔とを含む、請求項1又は2に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記縦孔は、第1縦孔と、前記第1縦孔と交差する向きに延びる第2縦孔とを含む、請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記壁面は、前記陸部のタイヤ軸方向の両側に設けられ、前記横孔は、両側の前記壁面に開口している、請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
