下記式(1)で定義される前記コード配列体の単位長手方向当たりのスチールコードの表面積パラメータSが60(mm)以上であり、
前記トッピングゴムは、加硫時の複素弾性率E*が5MPa以上を示すゴム組成物からなることを特徴とする。

E:コード・ゴム複合体のスチールコードの長手方向と直交する向きの幅5cm当たりのスチールコードの打ち込み本数

本発明のコード・ゴム複合体は、例えば、タイヤを含むゴム製品に用いられる。本実施形態のコード・ゴム複合体は、空気入りタイヤ(以下、単に「タイヤ」ということがある。)に用いられる場合が例示される。図1は、本発明のコード・ゴム複合体を含んだタイヤの一例を示すタイヤ子午線断面図である。

フィラメントの外径:0.295mm
テスト方法は、次の通りである。
JISK6256−1に準拠して、製造後の各タイヤから取り出したベルトプライを、引張試験機により50mm/分の引張速度で引っ張り、スチールコードの被覆率が求められた。数値が大きいほど、スチールコードとトッピングゴムとの接着性が良好である。
70℃及び相対湿度95%の環境下で、製造後の各タイヤを10日間放置して老化させた。そして、JISK6256−1に準拠して、老化後の各タイヤから取り出したベルトプライを、引張試験機により50mm/分の引張速度で引っ張り、スチールコードの被覆率が求められた。数値が大きいほど、スチールコードとトッピングゴムとの接着性が良好である。

Claims (3)
- 複数本のスチールコードが、その長手方向を揃えて配列されたコード配列体と、前記コード配列体を被覆する未加硫のトッピングゴムとを含むコード・ゴム複合体であって、
前記スチールコードは、1本のフィラメントで構成され、
下記式(1)で定義される前記コード配列体の単位長手方向当たりのスチールコードの表面積パラメータSが80(mm)以上であり、
前記トッピングゴムは、加硫後の複素弾性率E*が5MPa以上を示すゴム組成物からなることを特徴とするコード・ゴム複合体。

E:コード・ゴム複合体のスチールコードの長手方向と直交する向きの幅5cm当たりのスチールコードの打ち込み本数
- 前記トッピングゴムの前記複素弾性率E*は、25MPa以下である請求項1記載のコード・ゴム複合体。
- 請求項1又は2記載のコード・ゴム複合体をタイヤ構成部材として含むことを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。
