本実施形態に係るガスタービンAは、図1に示すように圧縮機1、燃焼器2、タービン3、還元触媒チャンバ4、タンク5、ポンプ6、気化器7及び燃料供給部8を備えている。また、これら複数の構成要素のうち、燃焼器2、タンク5、ポンプ6、気化器7及び燃料供給部8は、本実施形態における燃焼装置Cを構成している。このようなガスタービンAは、発電機Gの駆動源であり、所定の燃料を燃焼させることにより回転動力を発生させる。
(1)上記実施形態は、本発明をガスタービンAの燃焼装置Cに適用した場合に関するものであるが、本発明はこれに限定されない。本願発明に係る燃焼装置は、ガスタービンA以外の種々の装置、例えばライナが中心軸Lに対して傾斜したり、あるいはボイラのように主流が曲がっている場合にも適用可能である。

Claims (6)
- 燃料を燃焼用空気を用いて燃焼室内で燃焼させる燃焼装置であって、
前記燃焼室内の火炎に向けて所定の還元剤を噴射する還元剤噴射手段を備え、
前記燃焼用空気が前記燃焼室内で旋回流を形成する場合、
前記還元剤噴射手段は、前記燃焼室内の主流方向に垂直な面内において前記旋回流に沿う方向に前記還元剤を噴射することを特徴とする燃焼装置。 - 前記還元剤噴射手段は、前記火炎のうち酸素濃度が低い領域に前記還元剤を噴射することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃焼装置。
- 前記還元剤噴射手段は、前記燃焼室内における主流方向における前記火炎の中心部に向けて前記還元剤を噴射することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃焼装置。
- 前記還元剤噴射手段は、前記火炎の周りに設けられた単一あるいは複数の噴射孔を備え、当該噴射孔から前記火炎に向けて前記還元剤を噴射することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の燃焼装置。
- 前記還元剤はアンモニアであることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の燃焼装置。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の燃焼装置を備えることを特徴とするガスタービン。
