第1の強度閾値を下回る強度から前記第1の強度閾値を上回る強度への前記接触の特徴的な強度の増加を含む前記接触による第1の押圧入力であって、前記ディスプレイ上での前記第1の位置から第2の位置への前記テキスト選択インジケータの少なくとも一部の移動に対応する、前記タッチ感知面を横断する前記接触の移動が続く前記第1の押圧入力を検出することと、
前記接触による前記第1の押圧入力であって、前記タッチ感知面を横断する前記接触の前記移動が続く前記第1の押圧入力の検出に応じて、前記第1の位置と前記第2の位置との間のコンテンツを選択することと、

前記初期押圧入力の検出に応じて、前記テキスト選択インジケータを、前記タッチ感知面上での前記初期押圧入力の位置に対応する前記コンテンツ内の初期位置にて表示することと、を行うための命令を含む、電子デバイス。 - 請求項21に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記ディスプレイは前記タッチ感知面を含むタッチ感知ディスプレイであり、前記電子デバイスは、
前記タッチ感知ディスプレイ上で、前記コンテンツとオンスクリーンキーボードを同時に表示することを行うための命令を含み、前記初期押圧入力は、前記オンスクリーンキーボード上で検出される、電子デバイス。 - 請求項21に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記初期押圧入力は、前記ディスプレイ上の前記コンテンツの位置に対応する前記タッチ感知面上の位置にて検出される、電子デバイス。
- 請求項17から20のいずれか一項に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記ディスプレイは前記タッチ感知面を含むタッチ感知ディスプレイであり、前記電子デバイスは、
前記タッチ感知ディスプレイ上に前記コンテンツとオンスクリーンキーボードを同時に表示することと、
前記コンテンツ内の前記第1の位置にて前記テキスト選択インジケータを表示する前に、前記オンスクリーンキーボード上でマルチ接触ドラッグ入力を検出することと、
前記オンスクリーンキーボード上での前記マルチ接触ドラッグ入力の検出に応じて、前記オンスクリーンキーボード上での前記マルチ接触ドラッグ入力の位置に基づいて、前記コンテンツ内の初期位置にて前記テキスト選択インジケータを表示することと、を行うための命令を含む、電子デバイス。 - 請求項17から24のいずれか一項に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記コンテンツは編集可能コンテンツを含み、前記テキスト選択インジケータはカーソルを含む、電子デバイス。

拡大版の前記カーソル、及び前記カーソルの周辺域を表示する拡大ルーペを表示することを行うための命令を含む、電子デバイス。 - 請求項25に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記第1の位置と前記第2の位置との間の前記コンテンツを選択することは、
前記タッチ感知面を横断する前記接触の前記移動の検出に応じて、一度に1文字間隔で前記カーソルを移動させることと、
前記カーソルの前記移動に従い、一度に更なる1文字を選択することと、
を含む、電子デバイス。 - 請求項17から24のいずれか一項に記載の電子デバイスであって、前記コンテンツは読取専用コンテンツを含み、前記テキスト選択インジケータは選択領域を含み、前記テキスト選択インジケータを前記第1の位置にて表示することは、前記選択領域内の前記第1の位置に位置する第1の単語を表示することを含む、電子デバイス。

前記テキストが編集可能なテキストである場合、前記テキスト選択インジケータはカーソルであり、前記第1の位置と前記第2の位置との間のコンテンツを選択することは、前記タッチ感知面上での前記接触の移動に従い文字毎に前記選択を拡大することを含み、
前記テキストが編集可能でないテキストである場合、前記テキスト選択インジケータは初期的に単一の単語を包含する選択領域であり、前記第1の位置と前記第2の位置との間のコンテンツを選択することは、前記タッチ感知面上での前記接触の移動に従い、単語毎に前記選択を拡大することを含む、電子デバイス。 - コンピュータプログラムであって、タッチ感知面と、ディスプレイと、前記タッチ感知面との接触の強度を検出するための1つ以上のセンサとを備えた電子デバイスによって実行されると、前記電子デバイスに、

前記接触による前記第1の押圧入力であって、前記タッチ感知面を横断する前記接触の前記移動が続く前記第1の押圧入力の検出に応じて、前記第1の位置と前記第2の位置との間のコンテンツを選択させ、
前記タッチ感知面を横断する前記接触の前記移動を検出した後、前記接触の前記強度が前記第1の強度閾値より下へ減少した後で、かつ前記第1の位置と前記第2の位置との間の前記コンテンツが選択されている間に、前記第1の強度閾値を下回る強度から前記第1の強度閾値を上回る強度への前記接触の特徴的な強度の増加を含んだ、前記タッチ感知面上での前記接触による第2の押圧入力を検出させ、
前記タッチ感知面上での前記接触による前記第2の押圧入力の検出に応じて、前記第2の押圧入力に従い、前記第1の位置と前記第2の位置との間の前記コンテンツに関連するテキスト選択操作を行わせる、命令を含み、前記タッチ感知面を横断する前記移動が続く前記第1の押圧入力及び前記第2の押圧入力の前記接触は、前記タッチ感知面との単一の連続接触であり、前記テキスト選択操作は前記第1の位置と前記第2の位置との間のコンテンツの選択をキャンセルすることを含む、コンピュータプログラム。 - 請求項33に記載のコンピュータプログラムであって、前記電子デバイスによって実行されると、前記電子デバイスに、
前記接触による前記第1の押圧入力であって、前記タッチ感知面を横断する前記接触の前記移動が続く前記第1の押圧入力の検出に応じて、
前記コンテンツ内の前記第2の位置にて、前記テキスト選択インジケータの少なくとも前記一部を表示させる、命令を含む、コンピュータプログラム。
- 請求項33または34に記載のコンピュータプログラムであって、前記電子デバイスによって実行されると、前記電子デバイスに、
前記タッチ感知面上で前記接触による前記第2の押圧入力を検出し、前記第1の位置と前記第2の位置との間のコンテンツの前記選択をキャンセルした後、前記接触の更なる移動を検出させ、
前記接触の前記更なる移動の検出に応じて、前記第2の位置と第3の位置との間のコンテンツを選択させる、命令を含む、コンピュータプログラム。 - 請求項35に記載のコンピュータプログラムであって、前記電子デバイスによって実行されると、前記電子デバイスに、
前記第2の位置と前記第3の位置との間の前記コンテンツが選択されている間に、前記接触のリフトオフを検出させ、
前記第2の位置と前記第3の位置との間の前記コンテンツが選択されている間の前記接触の前記リフトオフの検出に応じて、前記第3の位置において前記コンテンツの選択を停止し、前記第2の位置と前記第3の位置との間の前記コンテンツの選択を維持させる、命令を含む、コンピュータプログラム。 - 請求項33から36のいずれか一項に記載のコンピュータプログラムであって、前記電子デバイスによって実行されると、前記電子デバイスに、
前記コンテンツ内の前記第1の位置にて前記テキスト選択インジケータを表示する前に、前記タッチ感知面上での前記接触による初期押圧入力を検出させ、
前記初期押圧入力の検出に応じて、前記テキスト選択インジケータを、前記タッチ感知面上での前記初期押圧入力の位置に対応する前記コンテンツ内の初期位置にて表示させる、命令を含む、コンピュータプログラム。 - 請求項37に記載のコンピュータプログラムであって、前記ディスプレイは前記タッチ感知面を含むタッチ感知ディスプレイであり、前記コンピュータプログラムは、前記電子デバイスによって実行されると、前記電子デバイスに、
前記タッチ感知ディスプレイ上で、前記コンテンツとオンスクリーンキーボードを同時に表示させる命令を含み、前記初期押圧入力は、前記オンスクリーンキーボード上で検出される、コンピュータプログラム。 - 請求項37に記載のコンピュータプログラムであって、前記初期押圧入力は、前記ディスプレイ上の前記コンテンツの位置に対応する前記タッチ感知面上の位置にて検出される、コンピュータプログラム。
- 請求項33から36のいずれか一項に記載のコンピュータプログラムであって、前記ディスプレイは前記タッチ感知面を含むタッチ感知ディスプレイであり、前記コンピュータプログラムは、前記電子デバイスによって実行されると、前記電子デバイスに、
前記タッチ感知ディスプレイ上に前記コンテンツとオンスクリーンキーボードを同時に表示させ、
前記コンテンツ内の前記第1の位置にて前記テキスト選択インジケータを表示する前に、前記オンスクリーンキーボード上でマルチ接触ドラッグ入力を検出させ、
前記オンスクリーンキーボード上での前記マルチ接触ドラッグ入力の検出に応じて、前記オンスクリーンキーボード上での前記マルチ接触ドラッグ入力の位置に基づいて、前記コンテンツ内の初期位置にて前記テキスト選択インジケータを表示させる、命令を含む、コンピュータプログラム。 - 請求項33から40のいずれか一項に記載のコンピュータプログラムであって、前記コンテンツは編集可能コンテンツを含み、前記テキスト選択インジケータはカーソルを含む、コンピュータプログラム。
- 請求項41に記載のコンピュータプログラムであって、前記電子デバイスによって実行されると、前記電子デバイスに、
拡大版の前記カーソル、及び前記カーソルの周辺域を表示する拡大ルーペを表示させる、命令を含む、コンピュータプログラム。 - 請求項41に記載のコンピュータプログラムであって、前記第1の位置と前記第2の位置との間の前記コンテンツを選択することは、
前記タッチ感知面を横断する前記接触の前記移動の検出に応じて、一度に1文字間隔で前記カーソルを移動させることと、
