Claims (4)
- 基板上に形成されたグレーティングカプラであって、該グレーティングカプラは幅方向に互いに隣接して配置された複数のグレーティング要素とその間をつなぐ導波路とを備え、前記複数のグレーティング要素は、互いに同じまたは略同じ方向に周期性を有する1次元格子を備え、グレーティング要素の光透過側に接続された導波路は、互いに隣接するグレーティング要素の光入力側に接続され、互いに隣接する少なくとも一対のグレーティング要素が同じ周期と深さの1次元格子を備え、光入力側から光透過側へ向かう方向が同一であることを特徴とする、グレーティングカプラ。
- 基板上に形成されたグレーティングカプラであって、該グレーティングカプラは幅方向に互いに隣接して配置された複数のグレーティング要素とその間をつなぐ導波路とを備え、前記複数のグレーティング要素は、周期性を有する1次元格子を備え、グレーティング要素の光透過側に接続された導波路は、互いに隣接するグレーティング要素の光入力側に接続され、互いに隣接する少なくとも一対のグレーティング要素は、周期の異なる1次元格子を備え、光入力側から光透過側へ向かう方向が逆であることを特徴とする、グレーティングカプラ。
- 互いに隣接する少なくとも一対のグレーティング要素の間隔は、2つのグレーティング要素の内の狭い方の幅以下であることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のグレーティングカプラ。
- 前記光入力側及び/又は光透過側に、前記グレーティング要素に接続された光分岐部を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至3の何れか1項に記載のグレーティングカプラ。
