Description
M1源としてLa(OH)3粉末、及び、M1 sM2 tOuとしてLa2Zr2O7粉末をモル比1:1で混合し、混合物とした。当該混合物を圧縮して、ペレット形状物とした。ペレット形状物を電気炉に配置し、1250℃、12時間の熱処理を行い、ペレット状の第一焼結体を得た。第一焼結体の上面に、Li源としての炭酸リチウム粉末を配置し、800℃、3時間の熱処理を行い、厚さ0.8mm、径9mmのペレット状の第二焼結体を得た。これを実施例1の構造体とした。
実施例1と同様の方法で、厚さ0.8mm、径9mmのペレット状の第二焼結体を得た。当該第二焼結体を裏返しに配置して、その上面に、Li源としての炭酸リチウムを配置し、800℃、3時間の熱処理を行い、実施例2の構造体を得た。
炭酸リチウム粉末、La(OH)3粉末、及び、La2Zr2O7粉末をモル比1:1:3.5で混合し、次いで、アルコールを添加して、ボールミルにて湿式混合を行った。得られた湿式混合物を100℃で5時間処理することによって、アルコールを除去し、乾式混合物とした。乾式混合物を圧縮して、ペレット形状物とした。ペレット形状物を電気炉に配置し、800℃、12時間の熱処理を行い、ペレット状のLi7La3Zr2O12を得た。これを比較例1の構造体とした。なお、比較例1の構造体は、特許文献3に記載のLi7La3Zr2O12と同一のものである。
X線回折装置にて、実施例1の構造体のX線回折パターンを測定した。実施例1の構造体のX線回折チャートを図1に示す。図1のX線回折チャートから、ガーネット結晶構造を示すLi7La3Zr2O12に固有の回折ピークが観察された。実施例1の構造体が、ガーネット結晶構造を示すLi7La3Zr2O12であることが裏付けられた。
ペレット状の実施例1の構造体を厚み方向で破断し、その破断面を走査型電子顕微鏡(SEM)で観察した。得られたSEM像を図3に示す。図3のSEM像から、表面からの深さ方向に沿った縞模様が観察された。図3のSEM像の下側1/4程度の範囲は、縞模様が観察されなかった。当該範囲は、第一焼結体と推定される。また、ペレット状の実施例1の構造体の表面をSEMで観察した。得られたSEM像を図4に示す。実施例1の構造体の表面は、緻密な状態であることがわかる。
以下の方法で、実施例2の構造体のインピーダンスを測定した。
周波数:0.2Hz〜1MHz
測定温度:200℃
クロスセクションポリッシャ(登録商標、日本電子株式会社製)を用いて、ペレット状の実施例1の構造体を厚み方向に切断し、その切断面をSEMで観察した。クロスセクションポリッシャとは、イオン銃から放出されるアルゴンイオンを試料に照射することで、試料の切断面を作製する装置である。
Claims (6)
- ガーネット結晶構造を示すLiaM1 bM2 cOd(5≦a≦8、2.5≦b≦3.5、1.5≦c≦2.5、10≦d≦14、M1はAl、Y、La、Pr、Nd、Sm、Lu、Mg、Ca、Sr又はBaから選択される1種以上の元素。M2はZr、Hf、Nb又はTaから選択される1種以上の元素。)構造体であって、
該構造体は、板状又はシート状であり、
該構造体の厚み方向の破断面を観察した走査型電子顕微鏡像に、該厚み方向に沿った縞模様が存在すること、
及び
該構造体の厚み方向の切断面を観察した走査型電子顕微鏡像に、該厚み方向のみに沿った連続体が存在すること、
を特徴とする構造体。 - ガーネット結晶構造を示すLiaM1 bM2 cOd(5≦a≦8、2.5≦b≦3.5、1.5≦c≦2.5、10≦d≦14、M1はAl、Y、La、Pr、Nd、Sm、Lu、Mg、Ca、Sr又はBaから選択される1種以上の元素。M2はZr、Hf、Nb又はTaから選択される1種以上の元素。)構造体の製造方法であって、
M1源及びM1 sM2 tOu(0.3<s<2.7、0.3<t<2.7、3.7≦s+t≦4.3、6.7≦u≦7.3)の混合物を熱処理して第一焼結体とする工程、
前記第一焼結体にLi源を接触させた状態で熱処理して第二焼結体とする工程、
を含むことを特徴とする構造体の製造方法。 - 前記第二焼結体とする工程における熱処理の温度が、600〜900℃の範囲内である請求項2に記載の構造体の製造方法。
- 前記第一焼結体とする工程における熱処理の温度が、800〜1500℃の範囲内である請求項3に記載の構造体の製造方法。
- 請求項2に記載の工程を経て製造された構造体を、正極と負極の間に配置する工程、
を含む蓄電装置の製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載の構造体を具備する蓄電装置。
