Claims (7)
- エンジンの排気ガスを消音するマフラであって、
内部に消音室が形成されたマフラ本体部と、
前記マフラ本体部の外周を覆うマフラカバーと、
前記マフラ本体部と前記マフラカバーとの間に形成された冷却通路と、
マフラを貫通して外部の空気を通過させる冷却パイプと、を備え、
前記エンジンのクランク軸に取り付けられた冷却ファンで生起された冷却風が、前記冷却通路に案内され、
前記冷却パイプは、前記マフラ本体部の周壁を貫通し、その両端が前記マフラの外部で前記冷却通路に開口しているエンジンのマフラ。 - 請求項1に記載のマフラにおいて、前記冷却パイプは、第1膨張室を貫通しているエンジンのマフラ。
- 請求項2に記載のマフラにおいて、前記第1膨張室とその下流側の第2膨張室との間に、前記排気ガスを浄化する触媒が配置されているエンジンのマフラ。
- 請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のマフラにおいて、前記冷却パイプは、前記エンジンの冷却ファンからの冷却風の流れ方向に沿って延びているエンジンのマフラ。
- 請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のマフラにおいて、マフラ本体部の周壁を貫通して、下流端が閉塞された排気管が接続され、
前記排気管の周壁に、前記マフラ内に開口した排出口が設けられ、
前記排気管に近接して、前記冷却パイプが配置されているエンジンのマフラ。 - 請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のマフラにおいて、キャブレター型の前記エンジンに設けられるエンジンのマフラ。
- 請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のマフラにおいて、前記マフラが、排気管により前記エンジンの排気ポートに連結され、
前記排気管が、排気管カバーにより覆われ、
前記冷却風が、エンジンケースおよび前記排気管カバーにより前記マフラに案内されているエンジンのマフラ。
