Description
少なくとも2つの複合積層要素の間の接合線に沿って、複合積層強化具を位置決めするステップと、

少なくとも2つの複合積層要素を貫通するように杭を打ち込むために、複合積層強化具を作動させるステップと、
杭が、基部に対して撓んだ角度で延伸するまで、杭を接合部で撓ませるステップであって、撓んだ角度が、初期角度と異なることによってクリップを固定する、杭を撓ませるステップとを含む、複合積層構造において、接合線で強化された接合を形成する方法。
接合部を加熱するステップが、第1および第2の接合部を加熱するステップを含み、
杭を打ち込むために、複合積層強化具を作動させるステップが、第1および第2の杭を、少なくとも2つの複合積層要素を貫通するように打ち込むステップを含み、
杭を撓ませるステップが、第1および第2の杭が、基部に対して第1および第2の撓んだ角度で延伸するまで、第1および第2の接合部で、第1および第2の杭を撓ませるステップを含み、第1および第2の撓んだ角度が、各々、第1および第2の初期角度とは異なる、
節1Aの方法。
複合積層強化具に複数のクリップを装填するステップであって、複数のクリップの各々が、第1および第2の接合部で基部に結合された第1および第2の杭を有し、第1および第2の杭が、基部に対して第1および第2の初期角度で延伸し、第1および第2の初期角度が、複数のクリップの各々がU字型を成すように、約90度である、複合積層強化具を装填するステップと、
少なくとも2つの複合積層要素の間の接合線に沿って、複合積層強化具を位置決めするステップと、
第1および第2の接合部の柔軟性を増すために、複数のクリップの各々の第1および第2の接合部を、周囲温度以上に十分に加熱するステップと、
少なくとも2つの複合積層要素を貫通するように、複数のクリップの各々の第1および第2の杭を打ち込むために、複合積層強化具を作動させるステップと、
第1および第2の接合部で、第1および第2の杭が、基部に対して第1および第2の撓んだ角度に延伸するまで、複数のクリップの各々の第1および第2の杭を、基部に向かって撓ませるステップであって、第1および第2の撓んだ角度が、各々、第1および第2の初期角度とは異なっていることによって、複数のクリップの1つが固定される、第1および第2の杭を撓めるステップと、
を含む、複合積層構造において、接合線で強化された接合を形成する方法。
複数のクリップの各々が、U字型を形成するように、第1および第2の接合部で基部に結合された第1および第2の杭を有する、複数のクリップと、
基部と、
基部に結合されたハウジングであって、ハウジングおよび基部が、複数のクリップを受けるためのチャンバを画定し、チャンバはチャンバ出口端部を画定している、ハウジングと、
チャンバに配置されたガイドアセンブリであって、複数のクリップを所定の方向に保持するように構成され、且つ、チャンバ出口端部に向かって複数のクリップを付勢するように構成された、ガイドアセンブリと、
チャンバ出口端部に隣接してチャンバに配置されたプランジャヘッドであって、このプランジャヘッドは、複数のクリップのうちの先頭のクリップの基部と係合するように位置決めされ、プランジャヘッドがチャンバ内に配置されている後退位置と、プランジャヘッドが、先頭のクリップを分配するために、チャンバ出口端部を通過した延伸位置との間で移動可能である、プランジャヘッドと、
プランジャヘッドに熱的に結合された加熱素子と、
を備える、複合積層構造において、接合線で強化された接合を形成するための複合積層強化具。
チャンバに配置され、且つ、複数のクリップを所定の方向で受けるように構成されたスライドと、
複数のクリップの後続のクリップと係合するように位置決めされたガイドヘッドと、
ガイドヘッドに動作可能に結合され、ガイドヘッドをチャンバ出口端部に向かって付勢するように構成されたガイドばねと、
を備える、節15Cから17Cのいずれかの複合積層強化具。

Claims (11)
- 複合積層構造(10、110)において、接合線(20、22)で、強化された接合部を形成する方法であって、
複合積層強化具(200)に、接合部でクリップ基部(26)に結合された杭を有するクリップ(24)を装填するステップであって、前記杭が、前記クリップ基部(26)に対して初期角度で延伸している、装填するステップと、
少なくとも2つの複合積層要素(12、14、112、114)の間で、前記接合線(20、22)に沿って前記複合積層強化具(200)を位置決めするステップと、
前記接合部の柔軟性を増すために、前記複合積層強化具(200)内で前記接合部を周囲温度以上に十分に加熱するステップと、
前記少なくとも2つの複合積層要素(12、14、112、114)を貫通するように、前記杭を打ち込むために、前記複合積層強化具(200)を作動させるステップと、
前記杭が、前記クリップ基部(26)に対して撓んだ角度に延伸するまで、前記杭を前記接合部で、前記クリップ基部(26)に向かって撓ませるステップであって、前記撓んだ角度が、前記初期角度とは異なることによって、前記クリップ(24)が固定される、杭を撓ませるステップと、
を含み、
前記複合積層強化具(200)が、前記クリップ(24)の前記クリップ基部(26)と係合するように位置決めされたプランジャヘッド(232)を含み、前記接合部を加熱するステップが、前記プランジャヘッド(232)を加熱するステップを含む、強化された接合部を形成する方法。 - 前記杭は、第1の杭(28)および第2の杭(30)を含み、
前記接合部は、第1の接合部(32)および第2の接合部(34)を含み、
前記クリップ(24)が、前記第1および第2の杭(28、30)が前記第1および第2の接合部(32、34)で前記クリップ基部(26)に結合された状態のU字型を成し、前記第1および第2の杭(28、30)が、前記クリップ基部(26)に対して、第1および第2の初期角度で延伸しており、
前記接合部を加熱するステップが、前記第1および第2の接合部(32、34)を加熱するステップを含み、
前記第1および第2の杭(28、30)を打ち込むために、前記複合積層強化具(200)を作動させるステップが、前記第1および第2の杭(28、30)を、前記少なくとも2つの複合積層要素(12、14、112、114)を貫通するように打ち込むステップを含み、
前記杭を撓ませるステップが、前記第1および第2の杭(28、30)が前記クリップ基部(26)に対して、第1および第2の撓んだ角度に延伸するまで、前記第1および第2の杭(28、30)を前記第1および第2の接合部(32、34)で撓ませるステップを含み、前記第1および第2の撓んだ角度が、各々、前記第1および第2の初期角度とは異なっている、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 複数のクリップが、前記複合積層強化具(200)に装填され、前記接合線(20、22)に打ち込まれる、請求項1または2のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 隣接する前記複数のクリップの組を、連結部(125)で結合するステップをさらに含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記プランジャヘッド(232)が、後退位置から延伸位置まで移動可能であり、前記複合積層強化具(200)を作動させるステップが、前記プランジャヘッド(232)を前記後退位置から前記延伸位置まで作動させるステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記杭を撓ませるステップの後、前記複合積層構造(10、110)を硬化させるために、固定された前記クリップ(24)、および前記少なくとも2つの複合積層要素(12、14、112、114)を加熱するステップをさらに含む、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 複合積層構造(10、110)において、接合線(20、22)で、強化された接合を形成するための複合積層強化具(200)であって、
複数のクリップ(24)であって、前記複数のクリップ(24)の各々が、第1および第2の接合部(32、34)でクリップ基部(26)に結合された第1および第2の杭(28、30)を有して、U字型を形成している、複数のクリップ(24)と、
基部(202)と、
前記基部(202)に結合されたハウジング(204)であって、前記ハウジング(204)および前記基部(202)が、前記複数のクリップ(24)を受けるためのチャンバ(206)を画定し、前記チャンバ(206)が、チャンバ出口端部(210)を画定する、ハウジングと、
前記チャンバ(206)に配置されて、前記複数のクリップ(24)を所定の方向に保持し、かつ前記複数のクリップ(24)を前記チャンバ出口端部(210)に向かって付勢するように構成された、ガイドアセンブリ(212)と、
前記チャンバ出口端部(210)に隣接して、前記チャンバ(206)に配置されたプランジャヘッド(232)であって、前記プランジャヘッド(232)が、前記複数のクリップ(24)のうちの先頭のクリップのクリップ基部(26)と係合するように位置決めされ、前記プランジャヘッド(232)は、前記プランジャヘッド(232)が前記チャンバ内(206)に配置されている後退位置と、前記プランジャヘッド(232)が、前記チャンバ出口端部(210)を通過して、前記先頭のクリップを分配する延伸位置との間で移動可能である、プランジャヘッド(232)と、
前記プランジャヘッド(232)に熱的に結合された、前記チャンバ(206)内で前記第1および第2の接合部(32、34)を加熱する加熱素子(242)と、
を備える、複合積層強化具(200)。 - 前記プランジャヘッド(232)に結合され、前記チャンバ(206)の外側に配置されたプランジャハンドルをさらに備え、前記プランジャハンドルが、前記プランジャヘッド(232)を後退位置と延伸位置との間で作動させるのに十分な手動力を受けるように構成されている、請求項7に記載の複合積層強化具(200)。
- 前記加熱素子(242)が、前記ハウジング(204)に配置され、加熱素子ワイヤ(244)で前記プランジャヘッド(232)に熱的に結合されている、請求項7または8のいずれか一項に記載の複合積層強化具(200)。
- 前記ガイドアセンブリ(212)が、
前記チャンバ(206)に配置され、且つ、前記複数のクリップ(24)を所定の方向で受けるように構成されたスライドと、
前記複数のクリップ(24)のうちの後続のクリップと係合するように位置決めされたガイドヘッドと、
前記ガイドヘッドに動作可能に結合され、且つ、前記チャンバ出口端部(210)に向かって前記ガイドヘッドを付勢するように構成されたガイドばねと、
を含む、請求項7から9のいずれか一項に記載の複合積層強化具(200)。 - 前記複数のクリップ(24)の各々の、前記第1および第2の杭(28、30)の各々が、前記クリップ基部(26)の方を向いている内面(42、44)と、前記クリップ基部(26)とは反対方向を向いている外面(46、48)とを有し、前記外面(46、48)が、前記第1および第2の杭(28、30)の各々の先端(36、38)で厚さを減少させるテーパ部(50、52)を有する、請求項7から10のいずれか一項に記載の複合積層強化具(200)。
