Abstract
Description
つまり、可撓管部が太くなるほど硬度変化量が大きくなり、相対的に可撓管部が細い内視鏡は硬度変化量も小さくなり、その際の硬度変化量は、可撓管部の太さの変化(ベース硬度の変化)に対して、一定の割合となる。例えば、内視鏡2の可撓管部13の外径が内視鏡2Aの可撓管部13Aの外径の2倍である場合(ベース硬度が2倍)、内視鏡2の可撓管部13の硬度変化量は、内視鏡2Aの可撓管部13Aの硬度変化量の2倍となり、可撓管の太さの変化(ベース硬度の変化)と同じ割合となる。
コイルパイプ34の素線径をdとするとき、この素線径dを、可撓管部の太さに応じて変更することで、図6A,図6Bに示す特性となるように調整する。例えば、図7A,図7Bに示すように、コイルパイプ34のコイル径Dを一定とするとき、可撓管部が細くなるほど、より小径の素線径d’(d’<d)として可撓管部の硬度変化量を小さくする。
可撓管部の太さに応じてコイルパイプ34のコイル径を変更することで、図6A,図6Bに示す特性となるように調整する。例えば、図7B,図7Cに示すように、コイルパイプ34の素線径d’を一定とするとき、可撓管部が細くなるほど、より小径のコイル径D’(D’<D)として可撓管部の硬度変化量を小さくする。
(3)ワイヤ線径
可撓管部の太さに応じて牽引ワイヤ35の線径を変更することで、図6A,図6Bの特性となるように調整する。例えば、図8A,図8Bに示すように、コイルパイプ34のコイル径を一定のコイル径Dcとするとき、牽引ワイヤ35のワイヤ線径dwを、可撓管部が細くなるほど、より小径のワイヤ線径dw’(dw’<dw)として、可撓管部の硬度変化量を小さくする。また、図8Aと図8Cとの場合のように、可撓管部が細くなるほど、コイル径とワイヤ線径との双方を小さくするようしても良い。
可撓管部の太さに応じて牽引ワイヤ35の牽引量を変更することで、図6A,図6Bの特性となるように調整する。ワイヤ牽引量は、例えば、図3に示すカム筒体45のカム溝45a,45bの形状を変えることで変更することができる。可撓管部が細くなるほど、相対的にワイヤ牽引量を小さくし、可撓管部の硬度変化量を小さくする。

- 軟性の第1の挿入部と、前記第1の挿入部の基端側に設けられた第1の硬度操作部を操作することにより前記第1の挿入部内で動作可能に設けられ、前記第1の挿入部の硬度を第1の最小硬度と第1の最大硬度との間で変更可能な第1の硬度変更機構と、を備えた第1の内視鏡と、
軟性の第2の挿入部と、前記第2の挿入部の基端側に設けられた第2の硬度操作部を操作することにより前記第2の挿入部内で動作可能に設けられ、前記第2の挿入部の硬度を前記第1の最小硬度よりも大きい第2の最小硬度と前記第1の最大硬度よりも大きい第2の最大硬度との間で変更可能な第2の硬度変更機構と、備えた第2の内視鏡と、
を備え、
前記第1の硬度変更機構及び前記第2の硬度変更機構は、コイルパイプと、該コイルパイプ内に挿通され、先端側が前記コイルパイプに固定されたワイヤと、該ワイヤの基端側を前記硬度操作部によって牽引される、前記コイルパイプを緊縮する牽引機構とで構成され、
前記コイルパイプのコイル径、前記コイルパイプの素線径、前記ワイヤのワイヤ径、前記ワイヤの牽引量の少なくとも一つを調整することで、前記第2の挿入部が前記第2の最小硬度から前記第2の最大硬度へ変更される際の硬度の変化量を、前記第1の挿入部が前記第1の最小硬度から前記第1の最大硬度へ変更される際の変化量よりも大きく設定したことを特徴とする内視鏡システム。
