Claims (5)
- 表示データ信号および透明度制御信号に基づいて、画像フレームを表示する透明表示ユニットと、
前記透明表示ユニットに結合されるとともに、前記表示データ信号および前記透明度制御信号を受信し、前記表示データ信号に基づいて、黒状態から白状態までの間隔で前記画像フレームの第1階調を決定し、前記透明度制御信号に基づいて、前記黒状態から透明状態までの間隔で前記画像フレームの第2階調を決定し、前記第1階調および前記第2階調に基づいて、前記画像フレームを表示するよう前記透明表示ユニットを制御し、前記透明度制御信号の信号強度に基づいて、前記画像フレームの透明度を調整するコントローラと、
を含み、
前記透明表示ユニットが、複数の画素を含み、前記複数の画素が、前記表示データ信号により制御される第1画素群と、前記透明度制御信号により制御される第2画素群とに分けられ、
前記透明表示ユニットが、さらに、
前記第1画素群および前記第2画素群で共同配置され、前記第2画素群の各画素が、前記第1画素群のうちの少なくとも1つの画素と同一面内において隣接して配置された第3透明表示パネルと、
前記第3透明表示パネルに重ねて配置され、前記第1画素群の各画素を遮蔽するシェルター層と、
を含む透明表示装置。 - 前記コントローラが、前記画像フレームにおける前記透明度制御信号の制御領域を検出し、前記透明度制御信号の前記信号強度に基づいて、前記制御領域内の透明度を調整する請求項1に記載の透明表示装置。
- 前記コントローラが、前記表示データ信号のグレーレベル部分に基づいて、前記第1階調を決定し、前記第1階調に基づいて、前記黒状態から前記白状態までの前記間隔により決定された第1表示状態で動作するよう前記第1画素群のうちの少なくとも1つの第1画素を制御し、前記透明度制御信号の前記信号強度に基づいて、前記第2階調を決定し、前記第2階調に基づいて、前記黒状態から前記透明状態までの前記間隔により決定された第2表示状態で動作するよう前記第2画素群のうちの少なくとも1つの第2画素を制御する請求項1に記載の透明表示装置。
- 前記第1表示状態が、前記黒状態および前記白状態のうちの1つであり、前記第2表示状態が、前記黒状態および前記透明状態のうちの1つであり、前記コントローラが、前記第1表示状態および前記第2表示状態に基づいて、前記透明状態、前記白状態および前記黒状態のうちの1つの状態で前記画像フレームを表示するよう制御し、前記少なくとも1つの第1画素が、前記少なくとも1つの第2画素に隣接して配置された請求項3に記載の透明表示装置。
- 前記第1画素群が、複数のカラーサブ画素を含み、前記第2画素群が、前記画像フレームの前記透明度を制御するための複数の透明サブ画素を含む請求項1に記載の透明表示装置。
