Description
Claims (15)
- 固有粘度(IV)1.0超の分子量を有するポリ塩化ビニルと、ヒマシ油、大豆油、アマニ油、トール油またはこれらの組み合わせの由来のものを含むバイオ可塑剤とのポリマー組成物を含み、前記バイオ可塑剤が前記ポリマー組成物の総重量の30重量%超の量で存在する、可撓性チューブ。
- 固有粘度(IV)1.0超の分子量を有するポリ塩化ビニルとバイオ可塑剤とをコンパウンディングしてポリマー組成物を形成することであって、前記バイオ可塑剤がヒマシ油、大豆油、アマニ油、トール油またはこれらの組み合わせの由来のものを含み、前記バイオ可塑剤が前記ポリマー組成物の総重量の30重量%超の量で存在する、ポリマー組成物を形成することと、
前記ポリマー組成物を押し出して可撓性チューブにすることと
を含む、可撓性チューブを形成する方法。 - 前記ポリ塩化ビニルは、固有粘度(IV)1.4超の分子量を有する、請求項1に記載の可撓性チューブ。
- 前記ポリ塩化ビニルはホモポリマーである、請求項1または3に記載の可撓性チューブ。
- 前記バイオ可塑剤は完全硬化ヒマシ油由来である、請求項1、3または4のいずれか一項に記載の可撓性チューブ。
- 前記バイオ可塑剤は前記ポリマー組成物の総重量に基づいて30重量%超の量で、50重量%以下の量で存在する、請求項1、および3ないし5のいずれか一項に記載の可撓性チューブ。
- 前記バイオ可塑剤は、3時間後350°Fにて0.5%未満の揮発性を有する、請求項1、および3ないし6のいずれか一項に記載の可撓性チューブ。
- 前記バイオ可塑化PVC化合物は、5時間の熱湯試験後に試験したとき損失が0.2重量%未満の水抽出抵抗性を有する、請求項1、および3ないし7のいずれか一項に記載の可撓性チューブ。
- 前記バイオ可塑化PVC化合物はフタレートを含まない、請求項1、および3ないし8のいずれか一項に記載の可撓性チューブ。
- 0psiにてL/S17標準ポンプヘッドを含むMasterflex蠕動ポンプを使用して、600RPMで測った際に、少なくとも60時間のポンプ寿命を有する、請求項1、および3ないし9のいずれか一項に記載の可撓性チューブ。
- フタレート系可塑剤を有するポリ塩化ビニルチューブと比較して、50%〜300%長いポンプ寿命を有する、請求項1、および3ないし10のいずれか一項に記載の可撓性チューブ。
- 55〜75のショアAデュロメータを有する、請求項1、および3ないし11のいずれか一項に記載の可撓性チューブ。
- 生体適合性であり動物由来成分を含まない配合成分を有する、請求項1、および3ないし12のいずれか一項に記載の可撓性チューブ。
- 可視光波長範囲において40%超の光透過率を有する、請求項1、および3ないし13のいずれか一項に記載の可撓性チューブ。
- 前記チューブは滅菌可能である、請求項1、および3ないし14のいずれか一項に記載の可撓性チューブ。
