Description
レンズにより、読書部を備えた眼用レンズが、遠見視力、中間視力及び近見視力が互いに影響をほとんど又は全く及ぼさないようにして可能になる。実際、眼用レンズのコントラスト感度を大幅に高められることが判明した。過去には、レンズは、生じる擾乱を可能な限り少なくするように設計された。本発明では、急峻な移行部が、それらが光軸から離れていく光を屈折させる限り、許容されうることが判明した。実際には、これらの急峻な移行部によりレンズが光軸から離れていく光の15%未満を屈折させる限り、この結果として、例えばコントラスト感度及び視力が改善されたIOLが得られることになる。この光の損失は、実際には4mmの瞳孔直径について定義される。

ここで、Δtは移行時間である。
説明した最適化移行プロファイルの別の応用例は、こうである。最も制御された、又は正確な方法で時間Δt内に変位Δsを得るには、最小加速度で移行を行うことが有利でありうる。時間Δt内に変位Δsを得るのに必要な最小加速度は、次式で計算することができる。
ここで、Δtは移行時間であり、aは最大加速度、又は最も制御された移行を得るための規定加速度である。上述の移行は、水平斜面(horizontal slope)から始まり水平斜面で終わる。近距離部区域と読書部区域の両方が回転対称面である場合では、両方の区域が接線方向又は工具方向に水平斜面を有する。この場合、各区域は、移行プロファイルによって、1次導関数の不連続がなく平滑に接続することができる。一方又は両方の区域が、例えば、円環面又は偏心球面などの無理対称面を有する場合には、斜面は一般に、工具方向に水平ではなくなる。各区域のうちの1つが接線方向に水平斜面すなわちゼロの傾きを有さない場合に平滑な移行部を作るために、移行部は、移行プロファイルの開始部又は終止部の一部を除去することによって、両方の区域と移行区域がそれらの接続箇所において接線になるように作ることができる。図17を参照されたい。上記と同じ分析をより一般的な方法で行うこともまた困難ではない。これは、工具が位置1で停止しており、位置2で降ろされているという想定である。あるいは、工具は、移行前に規定速度v1から始動し、移行後に速度v2にとどまることが可能である。最後の場合では、水平斜面で開始又は終止しなくてもよい移行プロファイルが得られる。もちろん、選択により、一方又は両方の光学区域と1本の線で接することなく移行を開始することも可能である。
・ 固定時間間隔での最大変位は小さい。
必要な工具移動に要する時間は長くなり、その結果として幅広い移行区域が生じる。
Claims (13)
- −表面を有する主レンズ部と、
−前記主レンズ部の前記表面に対して陥凹している表面を持つ凹部であって、前記主レンズ部との少なくとも1つの境界を有し、かつ近距離視力部を含む凹部と、
−光学中心及び前記光学中心を通る光軸と、
−前記主レンズ部と前記凹部との境界を有するように配置された中心部であって、実質的に円形であり、前記光学中心を備える中心部と、
を備える眼内レンズであって、
前記近距離視力部が、前記主レンズ部の屈折度に対して付加屈折度を有し、前記主レンズ部に対する中心部の相対屈折度が、前記付加屈折度の0%〜100%であるか、或いは
前記中心部の相対屈折度が、前記主レンズ部の屈折度に対して−2.0〜+2.0ジオプトリーである、前記眼内レンズ。 - 中心部が、直径0.2〜3.0mmの外接円内に収まるサイズである、請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 中心部が、直径0.2〜2.0mmの外接円内に収まるサイズである、請求項2に記載のレンズ。
- 凹部が、2つの半経線により主レンズ部と境界されている、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のレンズ。
- 半経線が光学中心を通って伸びる、請求項4に記載のレンズ。
- 凹部が、中心部と同心であり、前記中心部から距離をおいて位置する緯線により境界される、請求項4又は5に記載のレンズ。
- 主レンズ部が、遠距離視力用に構成されている、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のレンズ。
- 主レンズ部が、読書視力用に構成されている、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のレンズ。
- 近距離視力部が、主レンズ部の屈折度に対して+1.0〜+5.0ジオプトリーの相対屈折度を有する、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載のレンズ。
- 近距離視力部が、主レンズ部の屈折度に対して+1.5〜+4.0ジオプトリーの相対屈折度を有する、請求項9に記載のレンズ。
- 主レンズ部が、−20〜+35ジオプトリーの屈折度を有する、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載のレンズ。
- 主レンズ部が、−10〜+30ジオプトリーの屈折度を有する、請求項11に記載のレンズ。
- −実質的に曲率半径がRvである主レンズ部と、
−第1の光学特性及び0.2〜2.0mmの断面を有する実質的に円形の中心部と、
−凹部を含む経線部とを備える眼内レンズであって、
前記凹部が、前記実質的に円形の中心部と、実質的に前記中心部の中心を通って伸びる2つの経線と、前記中心部に対し実質的に同心である下方の境界とにより境界され、前記経線部が前記レンズ内に、曲率半径Rv上、又は内側にある外側限界を有する凹部を形成し、前記経線部が読書視力部を含む、前記眼内レンズ。
